Man of Steel looks awesome!

I haven't anticipated a DC movie since probably Batman Forever. I know, it was so-so but there was really nothing else comic-book wise at the time.

You know, if DC sticks to their guns and do a Batman cameo/reference at the end of this movie, you know people will go apeshit. Iron Man had Nick Fury showing up. That was cool. DC/WB should cut to the chase and show a big gun. Say a post credit scene of a dude in what looks like a batcave (since they might cast Bats by then, they could have a silhouette or from behind shot and Mr Wayne is watching all the Supes footage all his TV screens (maybe throw in a GL footage in a corner somewhere).

Now that alone would be DC fanboy drool.
 

Speaking of DC. I know us Marvel fanboys tend to bash DC movies since Marvel has it right but one thing DC/WB has an edge over Marvel is all of their main big guns under the same roof. DC/WB should take advantage of this and not fuck it up. And if the next string of DC movies, including JL, one-up Marvel and blow them out of the water, I'm willing to bet Marvel Studios/Disney will strike a deal with Fox/Sony to co-exist in the same cinematic universe in order to get access to Spidey, Wolverine and FF.

So there you go. It's been a comicbook movie battle for many years now. DC slacked off with the Batman franchise in the late 90s. Marvel one-ups with Blade, then X-men, then Spidey. Marvel then gets a bit stagnant with their movies (Spidey 3, FF 2, X-men 3, Elektra) so DC one-ups them with Dark Knight. Everyone assumed TDKR would be the #1 movie of the year, Avengers blew it.

DC/WB? The ball is in your court. If you kick ass, then it will push Marvel to do better. :)
 

 I am really digging the vibe of this version.  To hear Pa Kent say it might have been better to let the kids on the bus die...wow.  I like the approach from this trailer.

The trailer did look really good.  BTW, what's up with crediting folks who send you scoops?  I'm not saying I'm the only one, but I sent the Star Trek trailer in yesterday & the Man of Steel trailer today, but no mention.  What's up?  No biggie either way.  I'm sure you guys will find them eventually, it just felt good to know you were sharing stuff with the community.

One thing I noticed was when Superman launced himself into flight, it looked like they copied Neo in the Matrix.  I guess what makes it worse is that Perry White is Laurence Fishburn, so Morpheus is Superman's boss.  Maybe it was just an homage.  Maybe it was totally unintentional.  Then again, this looks more modern then Superman jumping out of a office building yelling Up, Up, and Away!

 Definatley liking this tone, Ive always thought that a superman movie has had the potential to be something great. They got themselves some great casting and I think Snyder will do a great job with this IMO. Looks like Supes and Zod will have a epic showdown. I think Tom Welling should come back for JLA if Cavill isnt in. I would just like for Welling to have his own Supes movie someday

Freakin' awesome!  I know a lot of fanboys hate on Supes, but he has always been my number favorite superhero.  Love Batman, Avengers, XMen and Spidey too, but for me no one is quite on the same level of Superman.

This movie is going to be Epic!

As for the music, you have to face facts that you're never going to top John Williams' score to the original, so I think the best thing to do is what they've done here and go a totally different direction.

 We are retooling the CMS goldeneyez and you are right, we do find them on our own. Keep sending them in though. 

 At around 54 seconds you can see baseball players walking out of the crops.....Ok I stole that off a youtuber but it made me laugh. HAha

btw where are the MOS/Zack Snyder bashers at?! That's Right!!!
