The Wolverine Trailer!

Plus the International Trailer!!!!

Marvel Studios and 20th Century Fox have released their new The Wolverine trailer. Check out the trailer here on iTunes if the embeds comes down off the other YouTube sites. The trailer is embedded below alone with the international trailer, which is way better BTW.

What do you think Maniacs? Crazy premise or expected? They have to find some way to make him vulnerable or he is just Superman. Cool cameo, but expected after reports of their visit, which is probably why that character made the trailer.

Sound off below.

The Plot: Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.

The Wolverine features Will Yun Lee, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima, and Brian Tee.

The Wolverine arrives in theaters on July 26th, 2013.

It's about time we get a solo Wolverine movie.

Meh...still not convinced...looks ok...that red hair chinese girl looks so ugly.

Bryzarro 3/27/2013 7:18:58 AM

Yes!  Yes!  AND HELL YES!!  Love how this is shaping up.

I like it! It looks like they took the basic ideas from the comic mini-series and incorporated it into the movie Wolverine storyline. I've always wanted to see this and this helps confirm that.

Wiseguy 3/27/2013 7:30:33 AM

Ditto that Bryzarro.

Why would anyone want to be mortal anyway. all the heavyheart shit, I'd be having a blast and I wouldn't have to despair about a JL film because I know it would get made even if it's 100 years down the road and I'd still be here to enjoy it.

Sounds like the old man wants Wolvies' powers to prolong his own life.....we ain't having it

Interesting that they showed more of the Silver Samurai in the International Trailer than the US one.

Duckbeaver 3/27/2013 7:37:30 AM

Looks pretty good.  Did I see a Jean Grey flashback in there?

Wiseguy 3/27/2013 7:37:50 AM

The story, at least by this trailer, doesn't remind me of the mini series. But then again it's just a trailer and I'm sure there's lots to be discovered

ElBaz13 3/27/2013 8:00:12 AM

International trailer is better.

Looks good. Then again, I said the same thing after seeing the Wolverine Origins trailer.

LOL Wise! But after about a hundred years you would be singing Queen's "Who Wants To Live Forever?"
