New DARK KNIGHT Trailer, New Villain for Third Film? - Jun 30, 2008 - 10:23pm
In the third film, I wouldn't mind Two-face as the main villian and Catwoman as the new love interest something similar to Batman Returns but with a fresh take. Catwoman was prolly the second best villian in the burton/schumacher series, Michelle did a great job with that character. I always said that if you take the penguin out of Batman Returns, the film would have been SO much better, not that it was bad, but not great either. I also just bought my Original Teaser Poster at ebay.com the nice 27x40 and it's double-sided of course.
Hulk Fight Breakdown: Norton vs. Universal - Jun 15, 2008 - 02:11pm
"The Incredible Hulk" was not as "Incredible" as some of you say, I saw it on Friday and felt that it was okay. If anything both "Hulk" movies have been subpar, Ang Lee's "Hulk" has always been criticized for being garbage, but I'll say this atleast there was character development. "The Incredible Hulk" was so much covered in action that the characters never had time to develop. I'm sorry but I side with Norton, he potentially saved this movie with making revisions to Zak Penn's script, and Penn isn't that good of a screenwriter to begin with, for example "Fanastic Four", "X3", and "Elektra". Marvel should've let Norton have a little more control in the final cut, we're talking about a guy that has worked on movies such as "Fight Club", "Rounders", "The Red Dragon", and "American History-X". What has Louis Leterrier done? Transporter? Come on! Transporter was good, but it's just like the same problems with "Transformers" we're suppose to sit for 2 hrs and watch all action scenes. I'd like some more dialogue with this Hulk movie, and I truly believe that Norton would have given it to us. As far as the summer goes, yes "Iron Man" was great, "Hellboy 2" should be good, and "The Dark Knight" should be a no-brainer, but I can't in good conscious say this Hulk movie was one of the best superhero adaptations I've ever seen. If any movie I predict that can be a great superhero movie, I'd say "Hancock" might impress a lot of people.
