Weaver Biting on VAMPS (Article) - 3/17/2010 8:55:55 AM

"I Could Never Be Your Woman," Heckering's last flick, was released theatrically overseas, but direct to video domestically.

Goldsman on Paranormal Sequel (Article) - 3/17/2010 8:41:53 AM

Muenster, what's a carck whore? It sounds hot!

I saw PA in the theater with a huge crowd and it was a lot of fun. One woman ran out of the theater crying while her friend stayed behind, rocking hysterically in her seat.

I thought my buddy was sleeping half-way through the movie. Turns out he just had his hat covering his eyes because he was so freaked out (yeah, uh, we're 30). By the end of the flick, he was covering his eyes with his hat and covering his ears with his hands. By the way, he was a hard ass Army Ranger.

I've never had so much fun at the movies before.

But a sequel? Really not necessary.

24 Cancellation Ticking (Article) - 3/15/2010 8:58:54 AM

The 24 day format really isn't a bad idea. Maybe then our boy Bauer can actually get a bathroom break.

PARANORMAL Sequel Developing (Article) - 11/5/2009 9:20:12 AM

Come on, Book of Shadows wasn't that bad. If you don't compare it to Blair Witch and watch it as a movie on its own, it really wasn't bad at all. Plus it had Poe's song "Haunted," which was kick ass.

Galifianakis in Shrek Spin-off (Article) - 11/5/2009 9:16:52 AM

Galifianakis should be one of the new Ghostbusters! Great call Hanso. I loved that guy ever since Out Cold. But I never understood why he was in Tru Calling. Steady paycheck for a while I guess.

SILENT HILL Writer Sentenced (Article) - 10/2/2009 1:15:52 PM

He should've been sentenced just for writing Silent Hill. It looked great, but damn was that terrible. It's unfortunate when the video game's story line is better than the movie's. Max Payne is another perfect example. Why was Mila Kunis' character even in that flick?!

RAMBO 5 Mission Approved (Article) - 9/1/2009 7:59:31 AM

For the record, Rambo did not make $113 overseas. It made $113 worldwide ($42.75m domestically and $70.5 overseas). And that movie was awesome. Can't wait for Pt. 5.

TEEN WOLF Pilot Moving Ahead (Article) - 9/1/2009 7:54:46 AM

They did the same thing with Buffy and that was pretty successful. Of course the main difference is that the Buffy movie was terrible and Teen Wolf (thanks in large part to the van surfing scene - thank you Hanso) was excellent.

Teen Wolf made $33m in 1985. Not bad, especially for what it was. I'll give the show a shot once.

XXX 3 Has Director (Article) - 8/27/2009 6:39:45 PM

Apparently I'm in the vast minority here... I thought XXX 2 was a million times better than the first. A heat-seeking missle blows up a guy smoking a cigarette? Give me a fucking break!

The only Vin Diesel movies I've ever liked were the first Fast and the Furious and Pitch Black. Knockaround Guys wasn't terrible. Maybe the guy should join the WWE. His acting skills would be on par with everyone else there.

5 Wrestlers Who Made It in Movies and 5 Who Didn't (Article) - 8/25/2009 12:55:46 PM

Okay, I saw Suburban Command in the theater on my 13th birthday. I was the target audience and I thought it was great. Nearly 18 years later, it's still amusing.

Thunder in Paradise also featured Brutus the Barber Beefcake. How on earth do you leave that show out?!

The Condemned rocked.

Both The Marine and 12 Rounds were fairly decent for what they were - much better than most other WWE produced movies.

Dwayne Johnson is the only one to go from wrestling superstar to full time box office gold with what should be a very long, successful acting career (though Race to Witch Mountain didn't come close to comparing to the 2 original flicks in the 70's).

I realize this list is based on opinion, but Andre the Giant at #1? Come on!
