Was This Hulk Really Necessary? - Jun 15, 2008 - 05:28pm
I caught Hulk on Saturday and while it was heads and tails WAY better than the Ang Lee one I actually thought back on how not necessary this on was. But from Marvel's stand point this is exactly what they want. They have cash off of both movies. This one will make their money and more.....and further to that the essence of the film works into what Marvel has built for their long term plans. (Avengers) I think it's the smartest move ever. And I give them props for going right ahead and doing it anyway. But all in all I liked how Norton worked as Banner, and Blonsky was amazing.

Box Office: HULK Flies into Top Spot - Jun 15, 2008 - 05:24pm
I'm not too sure about Get Smart and Guru cancelling each other out. Alot of the crowd who remember Get Smart may come out big for this one. But we'll have to see.

Amanda Peet Opposite Cusack in 2012 - Jun 13, 2008 - 07:23am
There is obviously a market for disaster movies or people would not still go and see them. Some I will pay to see at the theatres (ID4, Armageddon) and some I will rent (Day after Tommorow, Deep Impact). But I will probably see this one in theatres. I missed seeing 10,000 BC. Never found the time. It's not really silly about the Mayan Calendar.....it's no different than all the Nostradamus (sp) followers. Just nobody has been dumb enough to make a movie about him.
