The Lone Ranger Trailer #4

Could be great...

Here is the fourth trailer for Disney’s The Lone Ranger. When I watched this latest trailer all I could think of was seeing that first Pirates of the Caribbean trailer. I went in with an open mind. I plan on doing the same here.

Synopsis: From producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Gore Verbinski, the filmmaking team behind the blockbuster “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise, comes Disney/Jerry Bruckheimer Films’ “The Lone Ranger,” a thrilling adventure infused with action and humor, in which the famed masked hero is brought to life through new eyes.  Native American warrior Tonto (Johnny Depp) recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid(Armie Hammer), a man of the law, into a legend of justice—taking the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction as the two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption.

The Lone Ranger features Johnny Depp, Armie Hammer, Tom Wilkinson, William Fichtner, Barry Pepper, James Badge Dale, Ruth Wilson, and Helena Bonham Carter. The film is directed by Gore Verbinski.

The Lone Ranger enters theaters on July 3, 2013.

Nothing against it but this looks like a movie I won't see in theaters. Just not appealing to me.

Random fiunny thought that pops into my head is they should have done Green Hornet with Hammer and Depp as Kato. I'm sure you could find some asian blood in Depp if you looked hard enough.

I'm one of the most optimist here but this just isn't doing it for me

Tired of Depp and his mannerisms and especially him as Tonto

LR was a childhood favorite, I wish he'd been treated a little more serious

I may sly in through the front door and see it anyway :)
