1st Live Action Movie... ...uh maybe FOX should have checked that statement out before print. China did a live action Dragonball movie YEARS ago. Granted it wasn't fantastic, but it was a LIVE ACTION DRAGONBALL MOVIE.

Is Maguire a $50 Million Man? - Sep 16, 2008 - 02:59pm
I don't mean to be offensive to anyone here but... Have any of you picked up a Spider-Man comic book? Maguire SUCKS as Peter Parker, and to top it off he doesn't even play Spider-Man - a stunt dude does. I've said this before but Maguire would be better off playing a one time episode villain on Smallville. He comes off as a creepy stalker and not a hero. He cant act worth $#!t - he has one emotion and a very monotone voice. And for him to get this much cash (If this is true) is a lucky day for him. Granted he has the look for Parker somewhat, but not the acting chops... And you know what that says something about his acting ability because PP isn't that hard to portray. Parker is a wise-a$$ and a zinger. Maguire is a whiny lump of clay. He was emo before 3 (without the make-up in parts 1&2). He should be happy the paps are chasing him. I wouldn't. I really wished they wold have rebooted/ala The Incredible Hulk with a better actor. Heck Jake G. could have pulled it off better than Maguire. Watch Spectacular Spider-Man and thats how Parker is supposed to act. Yeah he has problems, but he also has fun. P.S. - Get someone hotter to play MJ.

Geez!!! Will every studio stop hanging off The Dark Knights SHORT & CURLYS. Just cause it worked once does not mean it will happen again for your particular film. Case and point HARRY POTTER. We got ERAGON, SPIDERWICK, GOLDEN COMPASS - Yet none of them emulated the success of Potter and his pals. Come up with something original. Nows the time to make a LIGHT HEARTED Superhero movie and capatilize off that - It's a different direction. Case and Point Iron Man. I think it would have been almost Neck and Neck with TDK if Ledger hadnt passes (which like it or not got the crowds in BY THE NUMBERS). Don't get me wrong TDK was phenomenal. But death always sells a movie especially if its already good to begin with.
