The benefit of getting a big payday from being an Avenger is getting the opportunity to take risks on smaller, edgier projects. Clearly that is what Captain America, Chris Evans, is doing here. Check out the second international trailer for his and director Joon-ho Bong’s (The Host)Snowpiercer
Synopsis: In a future where a failed global-warming experiment kills off most life on the planet, a class system evolves aboard the Snowpiercer, a train that travels around the globe via a perpetual-motion engine.

Snowpiercer features the talents of Chris Evans, Jamie Bell, John Hurt, Alison Pill, Tilda Swinton, Ed Harris, Ewen Bremner, and Kang-ho Song.
Snowpiercer has a release date of 2013 but no official date has been set.

Wow that trailer seemed kinda underwelming to me.

Agree with Mayhem. A teaser is supposed to make you go, "Wow, that looks interesting! I want to know more." This one doesn't tell you enough about the situation nor is it edited in a way that builds excitement or makes you curious to look up more info online or even care. It might be a great movie for all I know but the teaser fails to pull you in IMHO.

so the whole movie is a clostrophobic social commentary bit on lower class vs the nazi-esque upper class b.itches that they always are, eh? Wow, what a way to draw the masses...

...or Elysium minus the quality and popcorn appeal

Is Chris Evans supposed to look just like Jim Caviezel? That was weird.

Does no one have a problem with failed global warming experiment or the fact that they are on a train, why? or the fact that there Is a perpetual-motion engine.  What the hell?  I think I'll go see Elysium instead.  Maybe rent this if I see more.

"The benefit of getting a big payday from being an Avenger is getting the opportunity to take risks on smaller, edgier projects."  Actually, this struck me as the type of movie that a struggling actor makes, but it's so bad it never gets release. Until the actor hits it big, then suddenly there is a push to get it out there and capitalize on his 15 minutes.

All remaining human life decides to build a narrow-ass train and circle the globe, separating into small groups and inbreeding forever? Sounds pretty dumb.
