Taylor for Terminator? (Article) - 9/7/2013 6:02:55 AM

Stand Alone Story?  A day at the beach with the Terminator?  Terminator goes to Disneyland?

I'd rather go with more stories during the war. No more of this time traveling terminators to the real world nonsense. Let's see a Terminator War.

Why not just take off from Salvation?  Recast the sucker of course, but Salvation doesn't have to be addressed.  It HAD planned sequels, but the story was rather contained.  It didn't end on a cliffhanger like the Empire Strikes Back.  Marcus is dead, John is alive.  They left Marcus' corpse under a bush and moved on with their lives. It's war after all.  Moved it ahead a couple of years.

Maybe John has to rebuild the resistance.  Now he's the leader.  There you go, we have stories and a mostly fresh pallette.

The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh Blu-ray Review (Article) - 9/5/2013 11:26:39 AM

First off, if you need me to come over and beat your adult cynic out of you, I'm available.  I'll happily let you beat mine out of me.

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is a classic and one my dad kept renting for me, then my brother for several years before the video store we frequented went under and he was able to buy it on BETA.  Yep, we had betamax.  Dad also go Tron, Crocodile Dundee, and Irresisteble (a porn film).

My brother wore out our copy of Winnie the Pooh, and you know what, I never got over the movie.  I love it.  Occsionaly I still get the theme song stuck in my head from time to time.  Plus the other songs too.

Pooh's excercise song?  Who else do you know that does excercises so he can make himself hungry?  Pooh is da Man!  Or bear.

I love the Pooh Bear so much that when Kingdom Hearts came out, I was thrilled, exstatic, giddy as a little kid (I was 25 at the time) when I got to interact with Pooh Bear, it was an awesome trip in that game.

I've been waiting for this come out on bluray and as soon as I saw your review this morning, I hit Amazon and bought a copy.   And when I get paid again, I'm going to buy a copy and send it to my brother, because damn it, it's Pooh Bear!

Dalton for Alfred? (Article) - 8/28/2013 9:58:34 AM

People are saying Cranston didn't sign and that cosmic book news cannot be trusted, however the story is three days old, gained ALOT of traction and airplay and WB and the producers have stayed quiet.

They haven't denied the rumors yet, and they usually do, so there may be some credibility to the rumor.

The Summer of '83: Yor, The Hunter from the Future (Article) - 8/27/2013 5:39:10 PM

Our last visit to my Aunt and Uncle's house back in the day 1984?? before he ran off with some hideously ugly chick, my dad and uncle rented two movies.  Yor, Hunger of the Future and Lone Wolf McQuade.

I remember watching both those movies and loving every stupid moment of them.

Good Memories..  Good Memories.

I think I was in between first and second grade at the time.

DEXTER: Make Your Own Kind of Music Review (Article) - 8/27/2013 2:18:13 PM

I don't know, if I found out my brother was killing attorneys...and only attorneys, I think I'd probably let him.

Dexter: Time Served (Article) - 8/22/2013 11:22:34 AM

C'mon a real serial killer would get a series on HBO.

Grand Theft Auto Online Gameplay Trailer (Article) - 8/15/2013 10:39:47 AM

That does look awesome...but can they deliver?

Comicscape: Kick-Ass 3 (Article) - 8/15/2013 9:17:04 AM

Movies are adaptions and the changes in Kick-Ass from the comic really are negligable when you compare it to what became "Wanted."

Millar doesn't seem to care too much for his film adaptions being changed.  He liked and approved the movie version of Wanted and if you've read that, the movie is way different than the book.  And the comic is superior, and I will grant that the movie would have been harder to pull off if they followed the source a little closer, but still, really, cmon.

I enjoyed the original run of Kick-Ass and just got impatient with Kick-Ass 2, so impatient I quit reading it and gave up on the characters.  I don't know if I'll pick them back up now.

Dexter: DRESS CODE Review (Article) - 8/14/2013 7:52:33 PM

I was screaming, on the inside, by the end of begining of the middle of the last season of Breaking Bad...why don't they just make it season six for God sake we've waited a year!  But, I have not done that with Dexter this season.

TO improve this season they need a scene at the end of this season where Dexter wakes up from his "dream" (the last 12 episodes, I won't demand they undo last season as much as I want to) and have Dexter facing off against his greatest nemesis ever.

The room is dark, he's just awakened from his dream (Season 8) when he hears something in the dark, something like . . .mechanical...he peers down at the end of his bed and sees a dark shape in the form of a man.

Dexter reaches over and turns on his light, when he turns to face the shape at the end of the bed he hears a voice he is very familiar with, yet so alien to his ears "Suprise, MotherFUk3R."

Fast cut to black where the screen reads: "Sorry for the inconvenince Season 9 will be more awesome as Dexter faces his last greatest threat:  Darth Doakes."

This will require us to bring back the most awesome Erik King and maybe throw some cash at James Earl Jones...and maybe Disney as well.  But, I think we can undo the stain that is called season 8.
