Actually the lizard is the director (sam Rami's ) favorite villian.He has stated that he is going to take his time and develop the charactor instead of quiclky creating him like all the others.most likely he will finally become the lizard in #5.$ will continue his charactor develpment and have him begin his experiment that changes him into the lizard.
