THOR writer approves of Branagh - Oct 05, 2008 - 01:38am
I think Ken's a great choice. Thor is a different kind of superhero to the rest of the avengers. All but Thor get their powers from a science basis, Thor is purely magic, a medieval feel, lots of intrigue and Shakespearian shenanigans. Ken's done a great job interpreting those kinds of stories for a current generation and there's no reason he couldn't do the same here.
As for casting, I vote Brad Beyer, of Jericho fame. He's got the size and build, suitable for either Cap or Thor (both big blonde dudes).

Favreau talks about IRON MAN 2 and AVENGERS - Oct 02, 2008 - 04:20pm
How about Black widow, trying to cosy on up to Stark for russian espionage, only to get converted and end up in the avengers. I think they need a couple of women in that flick. Maybe the Wasp was already slated to be in it, but they could push it a little further. Okay so she was the only member who was there from the start, but they've had a long list of women in their roster now.
Will Smith is the New CAPTAIN AMERICA? - Sep 08, 2008 - 06:42pm
Brad Beyer for Cap. The big farm dude from jericho. He is such a better fit than Will and Brad Pitt. Will won't work just because of the times Cap was created, like bryzarro stated. I could never see Brad Pitt as Cap, he was too wirey for me. Beyer is a big man and built heavily, kind of how I see Supes too.
