With Gareth Edwards directing, will we not see Big G until the end.  The cast looks good.  Now to wait for clips and trailers.

Curious to see what kind of direction they will take. I would imagine something in between the originals and what we saw with the Ferris Bueller one.

Anything can beat that version with Mathew Brodrick so, should be interesting.

The Mathew Broderick version was about as menacing as a rabid chihuahua with a thyroid condition. And made about as much sense.

Have you ever been attacked by a rabid chihuahua? You will know the feeling of true fear when you stare into those beady little eyes and yipping voice!!!

I've never seen a 300-foot tall rabid chihuahua with teeth bigger than my car that could give birth to about 200 velociraptors.  I didn't mind the Roland Emmerich Godzilla, it looked more realistic than a guy in a big rubber suit smashing through a bunch of Hot Wheel cars.  People criticized Brodericks role in the film, but what did you want?  He was playing a nuclear biologist trying to solve a puzzle, would it have been more realistic if the character was played by Stallone?  I do look forward though to what direction the creature will take here.

Monsters was a decent movie so I have some hopes here. I suppose Tokyo is going to get smoked yet once again; cue Blue Oyster Cult!

Meh, not particularly pumped about another remake of Godzilla but will hold out on a final decision until I see a trailer.
