You said it Monkeyfoot. Disney doesn't like that negative publicity. They knew this would happen when they bought Marvel anyhow.

If Marvel was still on its own, they would still be fighting it in court.

I have noticed Marvel Studios via Disney has been acknowledging more the creators than the previous studios.

Ha ha! Didn't notice that but yeah, Penguin is a psychotic, like Joker on this show.

I haven't touched the comics ever but was he ever like that? He was pretty cool in Batman TAS.

Lois and Clark villains. LOL! I was trying to draw a comparison.

Not a bad episode. Don't understand the identity/rating of the show. It has an 8 pm time slot. Brutal violence (broken bottle in the neck, eyeballs ripped out) but has Lois and Clark type villains.

My kids want to watch it because it has young Batman and Catwoman but I don't know. We'll stick with MAoS and Flash for them.

Did you guys hear the Avengers 3 could be a 2-parter. Holy shit!

An article says Disney is taking the cue of franchises like Hunger Games, Potter, Twilight and try to cash in on the big finale. Unlike those franchises that did it because it was the final books to adapt, Disney's reason (cash being one of them) has to do with the actors contracts and the scope of the picture. For one, Evans and RDJ's contracts end at Avengers 3 and more than likely, will hang it up after that. So why not shoot 5-6 hours of good footage and make it into 2 movies? I heard Avengers 1 had almost 1 hour of stuff trimmed.

Not only that but if they do decide to bring in the GotG and the next crop of stars (Ant Man, Dr Strange), they will need 6 hours to cram all those characters.

This makes me happy.

My daughter had a pj birthday party this evening so we took to the movies. I asked the girls what they wanted to see. I was hoping Boxtrolls but sadly, these are tweens now so they picked a tween movie. Maze Runner.

I have to say I was quite impressed. It fits in the category of all YA movies the past year (which I have seen), like Hunger Games, Divergent, Beautiful Creatures, etc... But this one was pretty cool. I was impressed to hear how it was made with a modest budget of 34 million. The sound is f.ucking amazing and it wasn't even Imax.

It grossed 110 million worldwide so far. Totall recommend it.

What about Gold Leader and Porkins?

C'mon, no love for Porkins? :)

There is even a video on you tube of Porkins added scenes on the blu-ray. LOL!

NEW Flash Trailer for Premiere (Article) - 9/25/2014 11:13:08 AM

More stoked for this than Gotham.

This is a straight up show of an A-list superhero.

No teenage years (Smallville), No kid years (Gotham), no show set in the same universe with unknown characters (MAoS), No realistic comicbook show (Arrow season 1). No 'other' version of the character like Bart Allen or Wally West.

This is straight up superhero. Powers. Tights. Super villains.

It's a fun show. I picked it up on blu-ray and rewatching it again. First time watchers for my kids and wife and they are loving it. It's always fun to binge watch.

Loving it again.

It gets juicy at around episode 13 and then it's non-stop addictive.
