I agree with this review except for "Tim Roth portrays Blonsky as Generic British Badass. The film defines the character through his love of combat and his lust for power. But, he lacks the complexity of Ian McKellan as Magneto from X-Men, or William Defoe as Norman Osborne from Spider-Man. Blonsky just wants more strength, more speed, and more power so that he kicks more ass because he likes it." I didn't get that, my impression was that he was a fighting man who saw his days of being able to fight coming to an end. This comes from his line about being in the trenches and staying there till he can't do it anymore. I felt that Ross saw this to and exploited it. Blonsky even goes as far as saying that if he could put all the skills and knowledge he has now into his younger self, he wouldn't want to fight that guy. I don't think he was a moral abomination in the beginning; he was just a soldier, who’s good at what he did and doesn't know anything else. To someone like that, getting older, slower and weaker is a fate worse than death. Therefore when an opportunity comes along to prevent that he jumps at it. When Banner is captured then he fears that this opportunity is over, so he does what he feels he needs to stay strong forever. Now my geek moment: Hearing "HULK SMASH" sent a thrill down my spine.

I live in a completely Tivo'ed world. I don't catch any of these spots because I fast forward through commercials. I remember the last time I tried to watch regular tv and couldn't because I hated all the commercials. So as far as I'm concerned, Marvel spoil away (as long as it's just in TV spots).

Personally, as one who has just gotten an Xbox 360, I find it hard to put down the controller as it is. The fact that I didn't preorder GTA and that I am so pumped for Iron Man means I will have no problem dropping 10 dollars for the movie instead of playing games. Or 20 or 30 or 40 depending on how hard Iron Man rocks.

The toy store owner's comment wasn't a clue that it was a flashback. He only said "IN the year of the dragon, it will bring luck" he never said it was the year of the dragon. I've seen people on a lot of boards be confused by this. For me I knew it was a flashback when I saw his cell phone. No time travel is necassary to explain, just that the island and a portion of the area surrounding it is running at a different rate of time, presumably slower.

This show wasn't supposed to be the season finale but the damn writers strike made it so. If you look at it like there was probably supposed to be 3 or 4 more episodes then the explosion scene isn't that bad. If you like Rescue Me then you had to love the raid scene. As someone pointed out to me it was a textbook Rescue Me scene: 1. Awesome song --- Check 2. Johnny Gavin present --- Check 3. Slow Motion effects --- Check

I was the same way with the obvious hormone shot red herring. I actually figured out what the real cause was when he stumbled on to it. In fact I couldn't believe he would pick up the skull that was resting in a strange substance (as well as covered in same powder). I mean c'mon hasn't he worked in Eureka for over a year now ? Shouldn't he know better by now ? I realise he was already affected by that point, but still feel he was careless by doing that.(Especially since he didn't know it yet)

I figured that Henry was just watching ECW on Sci-fi, and that made me laugh. I didn't like or dislike the the new guy, I don't think we'll see him again. You gotta give props to the cuff's use at the end of the show, I found it predictable but still pretty funny. The remote scene was interesting to me cause it looked like Carter wasn't going to give it to him until the guy said he wanted to watch the baseball game Looked like Carter was hooking up a fellow fan.

Gotta side with BsimsBam7, there will be plenty of Starscream in the sequel. He wasn't the only Decepticon that could setup menace. I thought Blackout did an excellent job doing it. I also thought Blockade did a nice job of menacing Sam. They were clearly villains to me. I get that Starscream is the favorite for some people, but c'mon everyone knows that the Darth Vader of Transformers was Soundwave and he wasn't even in the movie. Gotta agree hearing Prime say Autobots... ROLL OUT! was awesome. Note -- I only wish there had been more Bonecrusher before Prime dropped him like a b***h. Note 2 -- If I got any names from the movie wrong then I apologise, I've only seen it once. (I'm going again this weekend)

Gonna have to watch it now. jetpack -- this is the start, Christmas Special first, then Smith & Jones after. 2 1/2 hrs this Friday on Sci-Fi.... look I'm a freaking ad, when do I get my money ? Note -- Not sure why 2 eps of Doctor Who fills 2 1/2 (per Sci-Fi sched) instead of 2 hrs, both eps are 45 min originally I think.

I also echo the previous comments. I found nothing wrong with the acting and this to not be filler but quite the opposite in that it advanced Hiro's story. Plus how cool a tease was that for a Peter vs. Sylar smackdown ? Also a cool shot of Nathan/Sylar flying off.

I don't think there are any continuity errors with Micha. I think we're witnessing the merging of the Jessica / Nikki personas finally. It looked like DL saw this happening. This is probably why she didn't give morphing chick a tongue lashing (though I wish she had also ;} ) Also she didn't rush in to find Micha cause Micha should have been in school. I think Candace picked him up early.
