Well at least it wasn't just me.  I saw him in it and exclaimed "What the What ??? "  I thought I had missed the last issue of Reborn.

Alice: TV Review (Article) - 12/9/2009 5:29:25 AM

I liked it, I liked Oz as well.  I particularily iked Harry Dean Stanton as Caerpiller and Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum.

Now there needs to be a third movie called Neverland and then a fourth tying them all together.

Like I said I don't really care, I was only pointing out that in the Marvel universe Sif Heimdall are brother and sister.

Idris Elba Guards THOR's Asgard (Article) - 11/20/2009 8:41:10 AM

Yes, Heimdall isn't black in the comic or in mythology but I think his is one of those roles where race isn't a factor. I mean, even in the comics, you barely ever see Heimdall's face under that helmet. I don't think its a big deal.

I'm not saying it is a big deal, personally I don't care.  I just wanted to point out that Heimdall is Sif's brother in the Marvel universe.  (Not sure in actual Norse mythology)

7 Rules for Making THE HOBBIT Movie (Article) - 11/19/2009 6:04:15 AM

You can't throw out Balin.  He is the dwarf who goes to reclaim Moria and it his tomb they find there.

Orvs vs Goblins:  there was actually a throw-away line in the Rankin & Bass where Sam says "Orcs, 'Ol Bilbo called them goblins, but whatever the name I loathe the vile creatures."

I can see it being two movies if they are going to add stuff that was mentioned but not seen in the book.  Plus adding stuff to bridge the gap (from the silmarilion I believe).

The Justice Society Must Die! (Article) - 11/18/2009 5:24:27 AM

I wouldn't mind if they got rid of the current JSA title and just did a JSA / All Stars that was out of DC continuity and set around WWII.  I think it would be cool to see modern writers / artists doing a new series of stories from that period.  You could have the modern JSA popping up in event comics or other titles.
