BOOOOOOO!!! I like to look at ScarJo as much as the next guy, but am beginning to doubt her talent. Blunt would have been perfect.
Should have been... many another actress. Jenny Mollen anyone? Eliza Dushku? ANYONE else???
Guy Davis drawing humor? Count me in.
Alright, I agree with you, for the most part. BUT, I did find Mindnight Nation to end well. Plus, I liked alot of what he did with Spider-Man (I know I'm not in the majority, but to me they were fun reads), and I don't think he was allowed to end his run the way he intended.
But I understand. Rising Stars started off so good, and ended so craptacular that I still have yet to read the last issue.
Jeff Smith - Bone
Garth Ennis - Preacher
Do these count? I know they are creator owned and envisioned as a story, not episodic, but are still long winded stories that paid off. I'm sure there are more and I'll be back when I think of them.
Y: The Last Man? back to that creator owned stuff.
hmmmm, I guess he's forgiven for Crimewave. He blew up alot of highway in the D and as a result, MI at the time said get the eff out and don't bother coming back. I guess now that he's one of the most powerful directors in the world, we'll give him a little leeway.
I got the first issue and it didn't really grab me. I only picked it up because I think the movie looks awesome (fine, I have a man crush on Chris Evans). It didn't seem like anything that was in that trailer, which is what grabbed me. So, a little disappointed, but if you say it's good, I'm willing to take that chance.
I cant figure out how to message! so...delte after you get I guess.

I'm not going to comment on this.
DAMNIT!
Caught up on the reviews, off to catch up on Comicspace.
You're basically right on the nose. As a big X-Phile geek, I came away from it entertained, but at the same time thinking of it as a very mediocre episode. I hated the references to the show (little things like Mulder sitting around throwing pencils into the cieling...like anyone has that kind of wall in their house. Office, yes. House, no.). I hated their relationship, what little of it thats seen. I did love Billy Connolly and his character.
"it’s actually somewhere between Iron Eagle IV and Delta Force 3."
You just made me want to watch it. Don't know that I'll ever forgive you for that.

Director: Lexi Alexander - I loved the direction (action, color schemes...) of War Zone and would love to see her continue the adventures of Frank Castle.
