LOST: No Place Like Home Part 2 - May 31, 2008 - 10:48am
Loved these episodes. Did no one watch part 1 again with the add fotage? I thought the "new" questions were intresting....exspecially on who the other 3 survivors were who sucumbed to death on the island. All three jack mentioned, boone, libby, and charlie all reprsent the first three seasons and there deaths resulted in major turns in the story. I'm with Hanso on this and I think there will be flash backs next season. In an issue of wizard magazine just 2 months befor the season started lindelof said we would get a flash back of Russoe in season 5. I hope thats true dead or not. Now there are two things that are bothering me from season 3 that I think are bigger hints at whats to come. First off Mekial(oh ya the wishmaster) said something to locke last year thats always bothered me and that was... And you John Locke, You are not the john Locke that I remember... now to me this inplyed time travel. Now I no this sounds crazy but what if Locke is the one who ordered the Purge. Some how after the six left Locke went Time travl'n? And that he was the leader who orderd it? Just a thought. My other theroy is that Jack is Jacob. Now I dont have much evidence of this, but that stupid Tattoo ep from last year always bugs me cause it seems so pointless. Yet his tattoo means if I remember corectlly, he is one of us, yet he is none of us. To me you could describe jacob that way as well. And both are leaders as well as the famliy conection. just a thought. Im sure charrlote was on the island when widmore controled it(if he controled it). I also look forward to the eventuale show down between desmond and ben. All and all great season..sucks we half to wait so long, oh well at least we still have BSG for a few more weeks :)

I love the Original, but I think this needs a reboot. As much as I like the original I'll bet the farm that this "reboot" wont boot strap it's self with the same ending leaveing it open for hopfully good sequals with out all the alien mumbo jumbo. There were some good ideas in the tv show (the idea of Methos, evil/dark quickening,watchers and roger daultry:) that if writen well with more thought behind it could serve the reboot well.

the first 2 movies are inter changeable same story diffrent villian. The third one was a peice of stinky shit. And Im sorry to all the Rami fans out there but he need's to leave the world of big budget movies and go back to doing what he's good at. makeing good movies with out the aid of an astronomical budgit,ie Evil Dead, the Gift and even quick and the dead. The third movie WAS Rami's fault, the song and dance was all him the studio was not fighting for that. It's time for a new cast, new director new everything. Please God save this series from Rami. Come back with venom and act like he was'nt in the 3rd movie, just like the hulk is doing with the last one. Hell venom bye him self is a triology...what a waist....thanks fan boys, hope you enjoyed it!

The 1st season was Ok...The 2nd season was predictable, and IMHO suffered from bad writeing.(right from the first episode onward.) They took everything back a step in season 2, I hope this season progresses the charicters not take them back a notch like last year.

I would agree about a C being harsh more like a B-but any way I loved what Jack said at the end(Hinting at that he knows he's related to Arron). I'm looking forword to next week with it being a Locke Ep.(thanks 4 the heads up Hanso). As for BSG it always takes me 1 or 2 eps to get in the groove and now that I'm into it im Love'n it. But I digrece, LOST seems to be back on track...So lets hope next week is writen by BKV.( Now I half to get Back to GTA4)

I'm Curiouse to see what Abrhams does with this. Love Star Trek (though Voyager sucked). I dont belive for a second that people who are not fans of some sort will go see this. Star Trek has a bad stigma, people only see the freaks who dress up and it gives us "normal" fans a bad name. The Nana Visitor Charicter has not been revealed yet, Moore talked about her Charicter in an interveiw and all he really mentioned was that she had Cancer. I dont understand All the Helo bashing, he's one of my favorite charicters. Oh and by the way Gaulyboy420 its not a lamp its A BONG. (and IMO a Yoda Bong is even better then a lamp. ya gauleyboy I was thinking Cali might be the last cylon, but I dont think so it would make her death to hollow + They already pulled that trick with Starbuck.I have two guess. First off The last Cylon is suposed to be more Human then the rest so my first Guess is what ever Charicter Nana Visitor is playing (apparently she has cancer as well). My other Guess is Helo, after all He did have a Kid with a Cylon and that would make him more Human then being able to procreate. Just a thought.

As for this ep. Just Great. But Were's the reveiw of the Calli death ep.? I downloaded that episode and noticed something strange. The Sci-fi network version was diffrent then what we got in Canada. Up here when they cut to Kara's ship and the crew is argueing amongst them selves the Women(she was on the "jury" that was killing colaberaters last season) Says Fuck not Frak and Helo turns around and says "Hay watch your Frack'n language. I half to say that there were things about both films I liked. The one thing I loved about the first one was the visual style, witch was 1 of my big "issues" with this 1, the directors were just so so. Though By far the best part of the film for me was when the predator was "cleaning" up the mess(the tunels were a high light) They need to move this to Space or make a Predator film. with that said I own all the movies (even on VHS) and I will buy this one....Damn I'm weak..lol.

first off canada is not on strike, every ones working here(or at least vancouver) I live not far from bridge studios and there super busy.(stargate atlantis and I think Battlestar). As for JLM, lame title by the way, this movie should not be made or at least not the way there going to go. I half to say i'm with ponyboy on this one. Could you imagine if Singer cast X-Men like this.....In my mind I cant take a young 20 somth'n playing Bats. As for people getting confused with two versions of the charicters, I dont think it will happen after all know one got confused between Singers Sup's and TV's Sup's.

What are they doing? this series should be a 1 hour drama on TV not a couple of movies. Hell it reads like a TV show. It's like george lucas said..."the future is in TV, not movies." And Y is one of those comics that could make a great show, my worry is most of the great and thought prevoking things in the series will be lost or scimmed over in only three movies....My vote is for a TV series not movies.

First off I'd like to say that every 1 who's played bond was never bad....It just depended on the movie, Lasenby was ok but the script for HMSS sucked balls same with Dalton most people dont like him, but he was one of my fav's and he was good it's just that his first movie sucked (though Licence to Kill is one of my favs) Hell the most unbelivable bond ever was Roger Moore and yet he has some of the best movies. The point is if Casino Royale sucked we would all be saying craig sucked as bond,even though He does Kick Ass! As for Casino Royale I think a lot of credit should go to cambell. He brought back bond with Golden eye setting the look for all of Brosnens bonds. And Golden Eye is arguablly one of the best bonds ever as is Casino Royal there at least both up there with Goldfinger. And alot of that has to do with cambell's Directing.

I'm willing to wait for Jackson...5,10 even 15 years I dont care....But If I half to choose a new director it would be Del toro hands down...Dont let Raimi touch it..after 2 so so spiderman movies and 1 god awful one...let him go on to somthing else...I'm a huge Tolkien fan,but I would not wtach these films if Raimi's involved, you might as well get McG :(

I've owned the "Ultimate" edition since friday(the one in the deckard breif case.) and for any one who has'nt seen it I sugest the Final Cut....Only because it's the way Riddly Scott wanted the film to be scene..I half to say I'm personally not a fan of the voice over or the "drive into the sunset" endding..it never fit with the movie. But I half to say the DVD set is steller, and with the "breif case" special Edition only numbered to 10 000, get one while you can!

Wow, thats some fucked up list....My top ten movies would be: 1.No country for old men 2.Hot Fuzz 3.Grind House 4.The Mist 5.Children of Men (did that come out this year?) 6. BSG- Razor 7.Fido 8.American Gangster 9.Disturbia...I really liked this one 4 some reason 10.Sun shine. As for TV... I just finished re watching BSG season 3 and I half to say that Micheal Hogan (Tye) really should have been considered if not nominated. so many critics seem to love this show ( hell rollingstone calls it the best show on tv for god sake) and yet they get ignored. I love House, but as far as Drama's go there's no contest between it and BSG. hanso I to am surprised about the sopranos, though maybe they still have that bad taste in there mouth from the "no Ending" thing

Thanks sleeper you proved my point, Batman forever and batman and robin sucked donkey balls, but as I said some times we half to wade through shit to get to the gold and gold in that case was Bat Man Begins.(were the budgits any diffrent? they both had a shit load of money put into them.) As for Trek I'm a huge fan but I never saw the last to treks on the big screen, and speaking of trek its just another example of wadeing through shit to get to the good stuff. The first trek movie sucked and if every one jumped ship after that we would not have gotten Wrath of Kahn....In the end with those movies as well as Bat Man And Bond if every one left the series after one bad movie we would not have gotten the great ones that followed. I'll never say AVP is as strong as the source's in witch came from but so far there not Bat Man and Robin either......are these movies a cash grab? sure they are but so is every fuck'n movie. Bat Man just as big a cash grab as this, the only dif was the first bat man movie kicked ass were the 1st AVP was lukewarm at best. Look I'm a huge Alien and Predator fan and have been since I was a Kid.....But why would a studio put in any money into a movie franchise when nobody shows up? Predator was a success but predator 2 wasnt...hence no third movie but by your dumb ass logic there should have been a third, cause no one showed up? If this is the only way to see my fav's then so be it, cause out side of my comics, toys and video games the only way I get to see these creatures/monsters in action is on screen. Look at these movies as "testing the market" of the fans after all they seemed to listen when the fans (my self included) screamed bloody murder for the lack of Gore/ R rated action.... If the fans show up the beter the chances of seprate movies being made of each creature. DO I want a new Alien Movie? Hell Yes. Do I want a New Predator film? You bet your ass I do but in the end we arnt going to get it if no one supports the AVP films and thats a fact of life. This is all we've got and if there was no AVP then all youd be Bitch'n about is "why are there no new alien films?" "Why havent we got a new Predator film?" So shut your trap cause you know your going to see this no matter if it's in the theater, download, or other. After all not every James Bond Movie was good and there are 21 of those. I just finished watching the intro and here's my 2 cents. 1) You "tech" continuity hounds out there I dont see what your bitch'n about, this movie takes place 10 years after predator 2(took place in 1997), of course there tech will look diffrent, how diffrent does are tech look now compared to 10 years ago. I sure hope there tech has evolved abit since then. not to mention it has a wall full of skulls just like the second movie, thats done in a simaler way as P2 (sorry I'm a bad speller :) 2)The planet looks like somthing out of Star Trek? I love trek and yet I cant think of anything out of trek that looks like that planet. 3) I agree these franchises are a cash cow but remember we were treated for the first two Alien movies with "A" list directors who new what they were doing, we'll be lucky to see a nother A list director take on any of these franchises again. Though Del Terro would make a kick ass Alien film. 4) for all of you who want or expect some genre shatering Sci fi movie out of this your barking up the wrong tree, this will be a fun movie hands down, you want a sci fi movie to shater your expectations (in a good way) then wait for Camerons Aviator. Lastly I'm seeing this movie on Christmas day (between my morning of busyness and evening diner) I've got time to kill and I personally cant think of a better way to spend that time then enjoying my to favorie movie monster's on screen. Will this be as good as Alien, Aliens, or Predator? Of course not and I dont expect it to be, I expect to be entertained. Did I like the first movie? I really cant belive all the people who liked the 3rd movie....It was an absolute mess made stricktlly to sell toys. The first one was ok the 2nd was all ready starting the downward spirial....I say wait till Camrons Avitar is done then get the man I trust 100% to bring a "real" spider man movie to life...not to mention the tech he's using to make his sci-fi opus could(in theroy) be used to make a bad ass spidey film....And I hope that who ever decides to right the 4th ignores the 3rd and use Venom Properlly...then again the only reason Venom was in the 3rd was because of "the fans" Well thanks to all of you who wanted Venom rushed in in worked out great. Oh and no more "musical crap" peter parker should not be singing in the streets.....One day all the people who liked the 3rd will look back on it and go.."Damn, why did I like this crap fest again. The first crow Movie is still the best comic movie ever though X2 is a close second. Collecter your Idea with the lizard and Kraven is a good Idea just dont let Rami write it or direct it...Peace

With that said The Ultimates Cap Kicked ass so it depends on what kind of portrail of cap they go for. Irion Man will Be the Next Blade(being the movie that kicked start this new comic Movie era) And change Everything....It`s Going to be Awsome. And now that I think about it screw an Avengers Movie, Make a Frack`n Ultimates Movie.

1. All three of these movies sucked but nothing sucked more than this one. To much CG (and not good CG either) Sand man is a boring villan, The story has WAY to much going on. Gwen Stacy's Charicter was a waste as was Venom... Hell Venom is A hole trilogy on his own. The casting of topher was one of the things I thought was ok about this mess. It`s time to recast this franchise with a new director. To all of you who liked this crap fest all I can say to you is...There is no Frak`n way that peter Parker should have a singing and danceing number...one of the worst movies this year. Thanks for nothing Rami

I love these movies there just mindless fun so I'm down with a rebot. A friend of mine wrote a screeplay (rejected mind you.) for a new jason movie, His Idea was that camp crystal Lake is a ski resort in the winter and you have jason take out skier's unstead of campers the story was'nt bad for what it was. The thing about it that made it for me was the visual of jason in the snow, you "could have" a visually cool movie as well as it being what you know yet somthing new. Here's my vote for Jason in the Snow.
