You really think Ferrell sucks? I was really disappointed with Semi-Pro, possibly one thee most un-funny movies I've ever seen. It was so bad that I'll be renting Step Brothers. At this point Nolan can do whatever he wants. Somebody needs to give Schumacher the big FU! Jagoff. Just saw an interview w/ Gary Oldman and he flat out says the Heath's Joker is the greatest movie villain of all time. Which is a pretty strong statement coming from a man who's made a very comfortable living playing some of Hollywood's more memorable scumbags/creeps/bad guys for the past 25 yrs. If I said it once I've said it a million times: I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT FUCKING WAIT FOR THIS MOVIE!!!!

But you take that lousy story + great action + Angie's bodacious rump dump it in a pot stir it up and POOF! $51 mil. It's all in the presentation. ps.....TDK is gonna bank $51 mil in midnite showings alone. book it.

Not surprised at all with Wanted's take. I think alot of people wanted to see it but were perhaps hesitant to plunk their 10$ at first. Once some positive reviews and fanboy thumbs ups got out there people went running. Personally, I went strictly based on the review that was posted here on Cinescape (I still call it that) on Thursday nite.

Jarrod, I think by the summers end TDK will have the higest gross. I'm a HUGE Indy fan. I saw the new one once. I went into it thinking I'd see it atleast twice, but then I saw it and once was enough for me. Now when it comes to Batman it's a completely different animal. I KNOW I'll see TDK 3x easy. And I say that because In '89 I saw Batman 7x(in theatres). I saw Begins 3x. They've been marketing the US shit out of this thing for over a year, brilliantly I might add, and I feel with that marketing assult along with what we've seen & heard that this film has the potential to be EPIC. I'm talkin Empire Strikes Back & Godfather II epic. Fanboys & Maniacs are gonna see atleast 2x just to be sure they didn't miss anything the 1st time around. Some people will see it out of some morbid curiosity due to Heath's ill-timed death. So I say why not $300 mil?

Really liked the new Hulk! Always liked Norton and I hope he, Marvel and Universal can work it out for the sequal. Liv was bangin'! Honestly, I'm just killin' time until The Dark Knight. Can't wait! I could get more indepth but what can I say that Hanso hasn't said already? Rumors out there that TDK has a 152 min run-time. That movie has EPIC written all over it.Rumors out there that Stan Winston has died. If true the business has lost an innovator & genius. Mr. Winston has set the bar for special FX for a long long time. All the while consistantly pushing the envelope only to usually out do himself. Hopefully this is a rumor.Finals goin' to 7 games. David Stern is the Devil and he's enjoying the attention, ratings and there's too much potential money to be made if the series goes 7. Fans keep saying "Oh the Celts lost so they can win it all at home." FUCK THAT. Celtics blew it last night. You NEVER lose a game inorder to win it at home. You got a chance to close it out you do it. Now the pressure is squarely on them to close it out. I hope they fail.

Went to the grocery store on Thursday and Indy was everywhere; cereal, candy, gum, super-polygrip (kidding) Then in some gossip rag my wife reads(ok, I occasionally check out said rags) and there was a pic of Han Solo himself covered in green slime promoting the movie @ Nickelodeon's kids/teen choice awards. I almost puked. Isn't it safe to say that the audience for this film is already built in? I mean do they really need to market this film to an age group that wasn't born when Last Crusade was released? Oh yeah...those cards sound DOPE!!
