Box Office: DARK KNIGHT is #4 all-time worldwide - Oct 06, 2008 - 11:10am
My reaction is mixed after seeing this movie. To be honest, I did enjoy Heath Ledger's memorable perfomrance as the Joker. He's so funny and entertaining. I am relieved the last scene with the Joker ended a good way. This version of Two-Face is more believable because I can see him as this tragic and very disturbed former District Attorney. I really don't understand why the villans are killed especially after falling down. That's dosen't sound too original. I saw like the same thing in almost every Batman movie. It was a dissapointment at the very end. In my opinion,it's better than Batman Begins. Not matter what the final results maybe, my reaction will still be mixed.
WB Decides to Reboot Darker SUPERMAN - Aug 22, 2008 - 02:44pm
Hey Flint it's the only one I liked to put on my profile. There wasn't many to choose from in which I thought looked good on my profile.
WB Decides to Reboot Darker SUPERMAN - Aug 22, 2008 - 02:17pm
I understand why the studio would reboot the movie series. It's a relief for me and others. However it wouldn't make any sense to interpet the man of steel as a dark character with a new story. It looked like to me they alreadly done that with Superman Returns. Superman is indeed not Batman. I read something interesting on MTV.com in a article entitled "How to reboot the Superman movie franchise-Comic Writers chime in by Jennifer Vineyard. It's on the splash page section. Grant Morrison,Mark Waid, and Brad Meltzer have expressed their thoughts on Superman Returns.
New Photos for STREET FIGHTER Online - Jul 31, 2008 - 07:41am
I have been a Street Fighter fan for a long time, and this premise of this movie looks like something that would be straight to video.
IRON MAN DVD Set for Sept. 30 - Jul 23, 2008 - 11:36am
This movie was awesome. I am looking forward to buying this one on DVD.
Ray Stevenson Talks PUNISHER - Apr 07, 2008 - 09:48am
I actually like the Dolph version better than Thomas, that just my opinion. I am looking forward to Ray's perfomance in theaters.
Siegel Estate Wins SUPERMAN Case - Mar 31, 2008 - 11:55pm
It's interesting that a federal judge ruled that heirs of Jerry Siegel were able to obtain the rights to Superman.I am not sure what they think so far with what Warners Bros. has done. Maybe if I see them at a convention, I can ask them. Anyway not only would the Superman sequel and JLA movie would be in question, but the Smallville show as well. That remains to be seen.
Jason Cast for FRIDAY Remake - Mar 31, 2008 - 11:47pm
It won't make much difference who plays Jason inthe next movie because he'll be in disguise.
Worthington Leads TERMINATOR Trilogy - Feb 14, 2008 - 10:23am
ExperiMental, please don't impose your views
onto me by stating stating it's a horrible
dissertation. I only speaking on my behalf
of what I thought about the whole
Terminator series.
Gone Baby Gone - Feb 13, 2008 - 11:07am
I agree with the second post.
TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES: Queen's Gambit - Feb 13, 2008 - 11:05am
When I first read about this show, I wasn't
sure. Anyway I checked it out and review it
as best I can. It's not that I hate this show,
I just think the first episode didn't impress
me that much and sounded a bit confusing.
Even though this has nothing to do with T3,
Sarah's illness is revealed by Cameron in the
year 1999. It seems a bit confusing that in
T3 it was revealed she died in 1997, but
she is alive in 1999. It seems like dosen't
matter because there is supposedly no
real connection with Rise of the Machines.
People to have to keep in mind that this is a
show that deals with time travel. It's very
important what's it's already been revealed
at least in the first two movies. Cameron
told Sarah that she is from the year 2027. It
would also have meant Kyle was sent back
through time that same year. I do recall
what he told the clinical psyhcologist about
the future. I do remember that Kyle
couldn't go back. It's interesting to know
Cameron, John, and Sarah are able to go
foward time to travel around this time. This
whole thing about John and Cameron going
to school seems a bit odd because usually in
the movies, this people are on the run from
future threats. At least the show looks like
it's getting better. I like to see John
aquiring miltary wisdom by someone that I
might see in a future episode. If the show
really does better, we might see more
superior threats against John and the
resistance. I like to finally see Skynet. We
never really see it. I like to see a Terminator
like the one from Dawn of Fate moving very
fast and is able to use an electronic charge
with it's fist. I like to see Perry, he was only
mentioned once in the Terminator. I did
see him in Dawn of fate. I can't imagine an
evil Terminator not using any vechiles to
chase these people away. At some point
these machines will eventually catch up with
these people. I don't know if the war
between man and machine will end
somehow in this show, or if there's going to
any connection with the new trilogy. Maybe
we'll see a younger version of Kyle Reese as
well as Derek. This show might last longer
based on better writing or it might be
cancelled shows like The Crow, Timecop,
and Blade. I give it some time and see how
far it goes for at least three seasons. I do
not impose my views onto anyone. I only
speak on my behalf, and that I am stating
what I know so far from the first two
movies and this show. Please do impose
your views onto me. I am typing this in a
mature and intelligent manner.
Worthington Leads TERMINATOR Trilogy - Feb 13, 2008 - 09:36am
I was not all that impressed with T3, but this
to most movies when they become too
successfull when they producing, writing,
and the direction go wrong . Either I think
it's big risk for this next installment in the
series, with probably at least mixed reactions
about the chronicles. There proabably a
more sophisticated type of cybrog than
the T-X. I can't imagine how time travel
would be possible since more time has
passed. I am not sure how many more times
they'll keep replacing an actor for the role
of John Connor. It would be interesting to
see the war in the future would like in the
next one. This probably will make less money
than T3 despite what might happen in this
one. After all there is no Arnold involved
because he's so busy running the state of
California. I hope it's a lot different than the
chronicles.
No Dinobots in TRANSFORMERS 2 - Feb 13, 2008 - 09:18am
I don't hate Michael Bay. Sometimes
producers like him will produce good
movies, and other times there are movies
that might look to impressive to others. At l
east I would explain why I didn't like
Transformers. There were too many
characters that didn't seem too interesting
to watch in the movie. It didn't have the
same appeal like the animated movie in
which I thought was awesome. I only heard
one song at the end, and that's about it.
The robots look too weird and it didn't look
much Transformers especially in the dark.
The other stuff like Spike's anestry, the
glasses, and that special cube was the only
things that look good. It just seemed very
campy at the same time. Maybe the
Transformers will look better in the next
movie. I don't mind that's there's no
dinobots in the next one, because I am not
sure how that would work. I like to see a
great like Omega Supreme vs. Devastor.
Devastor was actuall a giant robot in the
show. Two giant robots fighting each other
for the first time on the big screen, that
would be cool. Maybe they might show the
exo suit like in the animated movie. I want
to hear louder music in the next one, and
actually have a soundtrack that's cool. I am
imposing my views onto anyone. Please
don't impose your views onto to me.
First Set Photo for WOLVERINE Online - Jan 24, 2008 - 11:09am
The title sounds too long. Why it couldn't
it just be Wolverine Origins? This might
not work. The Elektra movie didn't work
for some reason if anybody remembers that.
The same thing might happen with this
new Wolverine movie.
Stallone Opens up on RAMBO and DEATH WISH - Jan 24, 2008 - 11:01am
I really don't think it would be a good idea
for Sly to work on a new version of Death
Wish because of the remakes that already
being proposed in hollywood. There's too
much of the stuff. There's needs to be
more originality when it comes to movies.
Also there have been movies like the Brave
One with Jodie Foster and Death Sentence
starring Kevin Bacon. It wouldn't seem
marketable for Sly to star in a new version
of Death Wish.
Edward Norton: "Utterly Unrelated" to Previous HULK - Jan 24, 2008 - 10:58am
I am not suprised after the previous
installments from characters like Superman
and Batman. I just hope the same thing
can be done with Superman. I didn't the
the first Hulk movie was that good either.
I just hope the movie will be away better
to sastisfy most fans who know what Hulk
should be on the big screen. I am looking
forward to it this summer.
Update: Ledger's Autopsy Is Inconclusive - Jan 23, 2008 - 10:40am
I was really shocked when I first
saw it on CNN. I did remember
seeing him in previous movies like
10 thinghs I hate about you and
Monster's Ball. I thought those
were good movies. I haven't had a
chance to see the others. This is
sad because I thought he did quite
well in those movies. No matter
what happens I mean no
disrespect to him in any way in the
upcoming Batman sequel. It
remains to be seen what his
portrayal of the Joker will be like
on the big screen. A lot of people
already seemed to be impressed
with him as the Joker, but again
that remains to be seen. I will
watch the movie at some point
and judge it fairly in mature and
intelligent manner as I would with
most movies. The hollywood
community and the rest world of
the world has lost a talented
young actor with such a promising
career. I know that he's gone
now, but he will never be
forgotten.
SUPERMAN on Hold, JLA Trouble Continues - Jan 14, 2008 - 10:35am
I do not hate Superman Returns. I just
didn't think it was very good movie, in which
I can understand why a lot of fans didn't like
it. Superman Returns was like the first two
movies reimagined and with some new stuff
added. I didn't think that was a good idea.
It should be something more original.
Otherwise it looks too confusing. The movie
was too dark, less interesting, and not as
good as the first two movies. Most of the
story was boring. What bothered me the
most was the suit because it didn't really
look like Superman. I thought it was too
radical, and I prefer the original traditional
suit. He looked too dark. He's supposed to
the man of steel, not somebody like
Batman. Superman should be a lighter and
brighter hero. Lex already knew too
much of Superman's origin from Krypton. It
made no sense about Clark's dissapearence
after five long years and also drinking beer
because Lois moved on without him. I
thought Clark was supposed mild mannered.
The son of Superman idea was just silly.
The special effects were not were not that
great to me. This is what I suggest the
studio does for future movies. They should
revamp the series, hire a new director,
crew, and cast. The next movie should be
something more original like the animated
show. It not easy to translate a comic book
into a movie, and I don't expect perfection.
There should be at least a better
interpetation of the character. That
probably won't happen for a long time
because who knows how long Singer will
involved, and other issues that might
concern the studio. I am not trying to
impose my views onto anyone. I only speak
on my behalf. Please don't impose your
views onto me.
Kristin Kreuk Leads STREET FIGHTER - Dec 26, 2007 - 02:59pm
I don't understand why this happening. 20th
Century Fox is taking a big risk with this.
There either needs to be better producing
or this is going not do too well at the box
office. Why focus just on Chun Li? This looks
too experimental. I've always had huge
interest in Street Fighter when I was
younger and saw what potential it had for a
fighting game. When the first movie came
out, it didn't do very well because it boring
and campy. Now after all these years with a
different studio and cast in place, this looks
like a straight to video type of movie. I am
very dissapointed.
Strause Bros. Talk About AVP:REQUIEM - Dec 26, 2007 - 02:38pm
I did watch this yesterday, and it had the
right tone to satisfy fans for the most part.
Unfortunetly I didn't think it was that great.
I had a few issues with this lastest
installment featuring the Aliens and Predator
series. There were some good stuff I liked
as well. I think the begining was a bit
inconsistent. I don't want to spoil anything,
but there were a few instense scenes in the
hospital. Be warned. You might be offened
by it. As for the good parts, I like the way
Preador's homeworld was finally introduced
after all these years and he uses new
weaponary to aid him in hunting down the
Aliens. Some of the characters were funny
and interesting to look at. This was sort
like a zombie movie. It had plenty of action,
humor, and suspence. This movie really
didn't have too much to do with other
movies. I like the first two Alien movies and
the original Predator as well. The other
movies were not that good, because I
felt last two Alien movies were too
experiemental, and the 2nd Predator movie
just didn't really apeal to me like the first
one. The first crossover was kind of okay,
but the setting was not too good. Please
don't impose your views on me, I only type
this on my behalf. I am not imposing my
views on anyone. I am just being honest.
New BATSUIT Photo Appears on CineLive - Dec 10, 2007 - 12:22pm
When I first saw Batman Begins, I really
didn't like the suit too much because Nolan
took it too seriously to design a suit for the
Dark Knight. I know it's supposed to the
begining, but really it just looked weird for
the entire movie and it didn't really look like
Batman to me. Again, this is too dark, and
yet Lindy Hemming who's name I found on
the Internet Movie Database, used like the
same color again with different designs. I
think Lindy should work smarter, and add
more color to it in future, because this
costume designer can only use like the
same color so many times with different
designs. Please don't impose your views on
me, I only speak on my behalf.
Producers Talk TERMINATOR SALVATION - Dec 05, 2007 - 12:23pm
I think this is going to become even worst
than before because after seeing the 3rd
movie, I wasn't that impressed. After
reading news on the fourth installment,
this is going be a tough sale from the
studio, because none of the original
lead actors from pervious films are not
involved and especially Jim Cameron. This is
begining to look silly and unprofessional
by Warner Bros. I don't trust McG as a
director no matter how many think he
might do well. I don't understand why
Christian Bale should be the lead actor
in the movie after the success of Batman
Begins. I understand Warner Bros. wants
to make a lot of money, but they have
mistakes with other big names in the past.
The 3rd movie only made about $100 million
dollars which was less than Judgment Day
which made more. It probably was about
$200 million dollars. This new one might
make even less than the previous
installments. Please don't impose your
views on me. I only speak on my behalf
because I am concerned as to how I think
about this series so far.
FRIDAY THE 13TH 'Not' A Remake - Nov 29, 2007 - 09:53am
This still seems very confusing from what I
read. It sounds like one of the stories Wild
storm comics. If the movie is good, I might
see it. Otherwise it looks like a waste time
in theaters. I am not sure how this would
work after seeing all of the movies, since
it supposed to be like a side story.
McG Confirmed for TERMINATOR SALVATION - Nov 19, 2007 - 10:44am
This dosen't look very promising. I wasn't
too impressed with McG's Charlie's Angels
in the past beacause they were too silly.
This reminds me of when Bryan Singer
was announced to direct the Superman
Returns movie. It seems like Warner Bros.
like to take risks with fans no matter if it's
a sequel or something based on a comic
book. Since McG is confirmed to direct the
Terminator sequel, I will not see it in
theaters.
Hasbro Clarifies G.I JOE Storyline - Nov 06, 2007 - 10:28am
I hope this will a lot better than the
Transformers. I was not too impressed with
that movie. The movie shouldn't just focus
on one main character like the X-men
movies. This needs to be like a team
effort and characters that audience
will care about.
Bruening Is the New KNIGHT RIDER - Nov 05, 2007 - 03:09pm
Maybe this might actually work. I just hope
it wont too confusing and the producers
would turn the car into some sort of
transformer.
Ratner Out of ESCAPE Remake - Oct 30, 2007 - 11:21am
I think a remake would be a bad idea.
There's just too many of them these days.
I would rather see Escape from Earth or
least something that has Kurt Rusell in it.
This remake certainly dosen't look very
promising.
Fox Greenlights MAD MAX 4 Production - Oct 25, 2007 - 10:59am
This may not happen, but if it does, I can't
imagine a sequel without Mel Gibson. That
would be so weird without Mel Gibson. The
next installment should be a lot different
than the last one. Who knows who will
compose the music. I just hope this isn't
like an imitation of some sort.
Steve Shill Drives KNIGHT RIDER Pilot - Oct 22, 2007 - 11:33am
I remember seeing most of the shows and
the movies for a long time. If this new
version dosen't have Micheal in it, this could
be a huge mistake. That's what happened
with Team Knight Rider. Knight Rider should
not be like the Transformers, that would be
silly.
CHUCKY Getting a Remake? - Oct 22, 2007 - 11:27am
I am not too suprised knowing how many
sequels there were with these famous
horror monsters. I am not looking forward
to this especially with the most recent
Halloween was made. I think the last time I
saw Chucky on screen was a mistake. It was
becomingmore silly that what it had
intended to be in the first three movies.
Horror. Now it's like horror comedy. Who
knows maybe it will be released by 2009
just in time for the 20th anniversary of the
first one.
SR Writers Not Returning for Next SUPERMAN - Oct 22, 2007 - 11:19am
I am glad that Dan Harris and Michael
Doughtery are not involved in the sequel.
I didn't like Superman Returns for a lot
reasons because to me after actually
watching it, it was like a ripoff of the first
two movies with some new stuff added.
Most of it looked really boring, dark, and
unispiring. It really had nothing to do too
much with the comic book. The special
effects of him flying looked like Neo from
the begining of Matrix Reloaded.
Superman's costume was too dark and I
prefer the original design. It's very unlikely
that a sequel might happen because the
widow and daughter of Jerry Sigel have
sued Warner Bros for the rights to
Superman. Bryan Singer is supposed to give
a deposition no later on November 30th. A
new trial is set for Janauary 22, 2008. You
can check out the story on IGN.com. Please
don't impose your views on me. I am just
telling how I reacted about the first movie
and also what I read from IGN.com.
Possible Cast Choices For JUSTICE LEAGUE - Oct 15, 2007 - 11:34am
This movie may not happen in 2009 because
there is supposedly a lawsuit pending in
reference to Superman because of royalties.
I read an article from IGN.com, that if there
is anything to do with Superman character,
it would have to put on hold. The widow
and daughter of Jerry Sigel have sued
Warner Bros for 50 percent both Superboy
and Superman. Superman Returns director
is supposed to give a disposition no later
than November 30th, 2007. The trial is set
for January 22, 2008.
Wanted!: Writers for Live Action STAR WARS - Oct 15, 2007 - 11:22am
Whatever the new stories maybe, I just
hope it something worth watching on T.V
I think the new series should focus on some
story that would have some sort of
connection between episode 3 and episode
4. It would probably something to do with
the surving Jedi like in Star Wars:Dark Times.
I like to see that story interpeted somehow
on T.V. Maybe it will be something like that
game Star Wars: Lethal Alliance.
Cullen Confirms TRANSFORMERS Trilogy - Oct 15, 2007 - 11:15am
I did see the movie and didn't see that
much reaction from the audience. I didn't
think it was that great. There were too
many characters and the movie look too
dark like the X-men movies and Batman
Begins. I think there was too much ambition
towards the movie and not enough effort
to be a good science fiction movie. The
music should have been like the animated
movie at least. I can't imagine it be a trilogy
since there are so many stories they can
interpet into future movies like the Dinobots,
Omega Supreme, Skyfire, the exo suits, and
Unicron. The triolgy could sound risky.
HELLRAISER Project Not a Remake - Oct 15, 2007 - 11:04am
That's interesting, first Jason, and now
Pinhead. It dosen't make whole a lot of
sense what these producers are doing
with these classic horror characters. At
least I am glad they stopping making those
direct-to-video sequels. I think it was just
a matter of time that something like this
was going to happen. Who knows what's
next?
The New Look of CAPTAIN AMERICA - Oct 15, 2007 - 11:00am
This might not work because it could be
too radical and extreme for some fans. It
wouldn't make too much sense for Cap to
use a gun. This could be some sort of
experiment until the classic Cap returns.
Anyway I might give it a chance to see
what's it about in the comics.
JOHN RAMBO Has a New Title - Oct 12, 2007 - 11:10am
Maybe should they should just call it
Rambo 4 or First Blood part 4. I just hope
the studio isn't planning to do this too
much because the movie is supposedly
going to be released in a few months.
WB Acquires TERMINATOR SALVATION - Oct 10, 2007 - 09:35am
I think the title of the new movie would
be too long if they used that. A lot of
people might find it silly. Maybe they should
entitled it only as Terminator Salvation or
something else.
Wiseman Out of ESCAPE Remake, Ratner In? - Oct 05, 2007 - 11:48am
I was actually looking foward to a new
story with Snake. I read somewhere
before that there was going to be a
movie entitled "Escape from Earth". I don't
know what happened. Then when I read
about this remake, I was suprised. Some
movies shouldn't be remade. There's
already too many remakes, and some of
them were not so good. Maybe there will
be a prequel to Escape to New York
someday that could explain how Snake lost
his left eye. However a remake looks too
risky. I didn't think Ratner's most recent
movie Rush Hour sequel was that good.
Diesel, Walker Both FAST & FURIOUS Again? - Oct 04, 2007 - 12:23pm
I remember seeing all three movies. I actually
liked the first two. The third one kind of
okay, but it was more like a straight to
video type of movie. I am not sure why
there would be a fourth at all. It would
be interesting to see how these two
characters would meet up again after
several years. If there is going to be a
next one, maybe the movie might work.
McG Up For TERMINATOR 4? - Oct 04, 2007 - 12:14pm
I hope McG isn't going to direct
the next installment. I think this
movie series already already in
trouble and don't know if the
trilogy is going to work. The next
movie needs a real director with
talent. I certainly did not enjoy
Charlie Angels directed by McG.
They were too silly. If he were
directed one of these movies, it
would look too weird and probably
a little bit too campy. I don't think
the Terminator was meant to
be too campy.
'Jason' Confirmed for FRIDAY THE 13th Remake - Oct 02, 2007 - 12:11pm
I agree with most of the people
on this. This won't really won't
really be a remake. It sounds to me
like a another sequel or a new
version of Jason. If it's going to be
like that, then it won't have too
much to do with the graphic novel
from Wildstorm either way. I just
hope this won't be as bad as Rob
Zombie's Halloween. Freddy vs.
Jason was fun to watch.
Wahlberg Hasn't Seen G.I JOE Script - Oct 01, 2007 - 11:33am
I just hope this will be a lot different than
the Transformers movie. What I expect is
that this new movie won't be dark and
actually have a soundtrack to listen to if
this movie is going to be worth watching.
I don't understand why Mark Walberg would
be cast as Duke. That's sounds like a big
risk. I wouldn't mind seen a unknown actor
playing Duke. Maybe it will be less of risk
for the producers to lose a lot of money.
HALLOWEEN Attacks DVD December 12 - Oct 01, 2007 - 11:27am
I didn't think this movie was as
good as the original. It's weird this
movie was released in August and
it seemed like it didn't last too
long in theaters. When I saw this
movie the first, there was barely a
reaction from anyone. The first
half of the movie looked good, but
it was too long. The rest of the
movie wasn't so scary, there was
bad acting, and the Sam Loomis
character was not potrayed well on
screen. It really didn't make too
much sense. What bothered me
the most was the ending. It's weird
on how this movie will released on
December 12th. It very doubtful
there will be any more Michael
Myers movies after seeing
this.
