JK Rowling jumped the shark with the order of the Phoenix.. The Gobliet of Fire was "meh", but the Order of the Phoenix was dismal. Lets hope the movie can cut the crap and make something half decent. Half-blood prince had some promise, but it fell apart. It was merely "filler" so that she could finish the series..

Halo2 was deffinately a lame duck compared to the first. However I'm glad they admiited to their mistakes. I have a friend who works in the game industry. One freelance project he worked on went to the stores in it's ALPHA state, because of pressure put on the publisher by Wal-mart. Essentially they had a truck load of "updates" for people in the next few months. It's was such a ridiculous situation, but not the fault of the actual guys making the game. It was the powers that be... Same with movies like X-men 3, or the last few seasons of Alias. The powers that be get their fingers in the pot, and make one nasty stew.
