Spammed, again!
(Sat 01/19/2008 01:16pm)That's right, another saturday means more spam from me!!
Last week we had Mania's own Merin stop in and chat on the board while he listend to Kaeos and I discuss the finer points of who is a better villain and why AVP:R sucked so bad.
Well, we would like any and all to come to the CHAOTIC RADIO tonight over at www.nowlive.com at 7pm pst and 10pm est.
We will have a entertainment report, Top 5, A Game Report, Headlines and you got to ask yourself something, What Annoys You!?
Thanks again for all the love and support of Mania, the coolest fuckin' site full of fans of all genres who try to not bitch about the new Star Trek film!
Take care all and hope to see some of you there!
Special Edition's Please!
(Tue 01/15/2008 06:00pm)There are still quite a few movies that have not been given the right treatment in terms of 'Special Editions'.
Some frankly probably will never get the extras but we can only hope.
I personally would like to see:
Johnny Mnemonic - Yes, that is right. I really like this movie and feel it deserves some extras on it. I would like to see a making of and deleted scenes. For me, it was one of those movies I just latched onto when I was a kid and never quite got over.
Escape From L.A. - Another some feel is was quite a dissapointment. When I watch it, I watch it for Snake, the main character and not thinking of Escape From N.Y. and I believe that was the problem a lot of people had with it. They had seen a classic and finally hear about a sequal coming out and what they got was something completely different. Still, it has it's faults but I would love to hear a commentary with others.
Now that I think of it, there are also two Carpenter classics that have NOTHING on the DVD.
They Live - Awesome movie! "I came here to kick ass and chew bubble gum.....And I am all out of bubble gum!" The fight scene between Piper and David is also one of the coolest.
Prince of Darkness - How can this movie STILL have nothing on the DVD's!?! Easily one of the creppiest Carpenter films of all. And you know, he is getting older everyday...I think he needs to get on top of these films quickstyle!!
So, what other classic's would you fellow Maniac's love to see with some more material?
Everyone else does it, so why not me!?!
(Sat 01/12/2008 12:41pm)Whatupper for supper, chicken fuckers!?! It is I, Swansong or TheGentlemenDeath as some of you know me in the forums.
I come to you as a movie lover and friend. As I hope you do as well, so why not come and say hi to us over at CHAOTIC RADIO !! www.nowlive.com !! Tongiht at 7pm pst and 10pm est.
Yes I know, it is a Saturday. But since we all post here on a regular basis I am under the assumption that 75% of us have nothing going on tonight!...Just like me!
Tonight we are doing a review for AVP:R, Weird and Strange Headlines with The Gentlemen, a funny ass Chaotic Radio Top 5 and much more!
If you like insanity and movies, why not come on over to Nowlive and show us some Mania support like McKracken, DarkJedi, Immortal1982, Bill the Pony, Thurston McQ, Midnightman and many many more!
Once again, thank you all for reading this. Some might see it as spam, I see it as a way to communicate to future audience members!
Love, Peace and Chicken Grease!

We need some feedback and help from our MANIA homies!
(Fri 01/04/2008 09:34pm)Looks like we may have a shot at syndication! Coool.
Several shows have a chance to be syndicated to multiple media sites and Chaotic Radio is in the running. This would effectively increase our potential listenership something like 150%
If there was a ever a time to rally troops to the show, it's now.
Our next several shows are going to be under a microscope so I'm "pounding the pavement" to get everyone possible to the show on Saturday - as usual - 10pm east, 7 on the west coast over at www.nowlive.com
I gotta say, again, our platform is unlike any other live webcasting site out there! When you come to the show, you are greeted by an interactive chat room attached right to the broadcast. I get the pleasure of conversing with the audience live which just makes the show that much better. You can upload media (*see crewman Midnightman) right to the board; pics, mp3's, you can tag youtube vids and all of this media can be shared or viewed individually. There are webcam spot open in the media section where audience members can plug in and be seen - if your into that sort of thing....
So I encourage all of you to stop on in and check us out, get in and tell me what you think! We'll be live this Saturday!
