Top 10 Werewolf Movies - Nov 21, 2008 - 10:46pm
Yeah Lister......I forgot  about that one. Yeah Ginger Snaps was a decent flick( and the sequel was even better). I wonder why that didn't make the list? I think it was the best werewolf flick since the 80's hallmark films. I tell you what was the worst though........"Cursed" with Christina Ricci. Geez, that was bad. On every level. And that show Werewolf..................that was pretty good that show. Is it on DVD? I always remember Michelle Johnson( Blame it On Rio) in the pilot as the guys girlfreind walking around the pool in her bikini. Had me hooked! And the wolf creatures by Rick Baker were awesome.

As good as "American Werewolf in London" is I think "The Howling " should have placed higher. It's more atmospheric, sexier , violent and has the best transformation scene( to this day) ever committed to celuloid.  Dante, Bottin, Sayles and Hora at  thier best. Winning combination.

Official HD STAR TREK Trailer now online - Nov 17, 2008 - 11:17pm
Funny how, the consensus is that it "looks good". Well, of course it looks good - there is no excuse these days for poor visuals. And that's the only thing that's loud and clear about this trailer. The rest of it, as my friend of mine puts it looks like a cross between "Dawson’s Creek” meets Armageddon". LOLOLOL. You can gamble on replacing a character like James Bond( the nature of the material allows you to get away with it) but trying to capture lightning in a bottle 3 times again - Shatner, Nimoy and Kelly - it can't be done. I feel sorry for this generation - they really have nothing to call their own. They are all being fed nicely packaged frozen dinners from second rate hot dog vendors when they should be eating fresh, original ingredients from a qualified and imaginative chef.     Hollywood is dying....................................no doubt about it.
