DC Comics Gay Character Revealed (Article) - 5/16/2014 8:53:35 AM

"In 2012, Marvel CCO Joe Quesada thought Namor's film rights had reverted to Marvel, but it was later revealed by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige in August 2013 that this was not the case, and the rights remained at Universal Pictures."

Game of Thrones: The Laws of Gods and Men Review (Article) - 5/15/2014 8:09:42 PM

Agreed Violator, although they had built her up so much as a warrior that runs on emotion, you would have thought she would wanted to have exacted revenge right there. But again, I guess we are supposed to take from that scene it would have cost too much to do so, so she retreated.

Sonia, ask BusgHog to take you to see Godzilla, I hear he really liked it. :P

Mania Review: Godzilla (Article) - 5/15/2014 8:02:56 PM

Given the obvious superlative nature of BushHog's comment, I'm going with Rob on this one and can't wait to see it. Sounds like a fair review to me. I can wait for the good stuff. Especially if it's in the third act and it delivers. Worst move ever? I doubt it BushHog. But I'll be the first one on here to eat crow if I agree with you.

24: Live Another Day: 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. Review (Article) - 5/13/2014 2:31:39 PM

Decent episode, although for me, I'm now so much more aware of how over-the-top this show is, having been spoiled with more subtle shows on cable. Times have changed, but the creators of this show have not.

Game of Thrones: The Laws of Gods and Men Review (Article) - 5/13/2014 2:29:16 PM

Just saw it and loved it. Agree that the dragon scene was spectacular. Also agree that the end of the Theon rescue attempt was an odd edit, but when Yara says he's basically already dead, I get why they retreated so easily. Although, again, for honor and such I would have thought they would stay and kill Ramsey.

Tyrian's speech was excellent. I don't need a lot of action when there is this much machiavellian gymnastics. So this episode is an A for me.

The Spring of '84: The Natural (Article) - 5/12/2014 5:29:46 PM

The guy who wrote the screenplay is named Phil Dusenberry, who was a legend in the advertsising business. I remember meeting him once when we were pitching the Texaco business at BBDO in NY. He looked at my campaign and then looked up and said, "This is good. Who did this?" And the creative director pointed his finger at me and Phil gave me an approving nod. One of the highlights of my career in advertising.

The Edge of Tomorrow Enhanced Trailer (Article) - 5/12/2014 5:24:00 PM

Def want to see this. It's like Groundhog's Day plus Terminator divided by Mission Impossible. Or something.

Mummy Reboot Loses Director (Article) - 5/8/2014 4:17:25 AM

mlaforce, thx for clearing that up. I thought it had something to do with Bryan Singer pool parties.

Mania Review: The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (Article) - 5/7/2014 5:20:12 PM

Wes1970 - agree with everything you said, bro. Including the WWE guy with a horn, LOL! The only exception would be that I wouldn't give this movie a B minus. For me it was a C minus at best.
