Actually I didn't mind the transition from 50's to 60's. I do think, now that so many topics have been covered, it's going to be harder to find a good one to use for Indy 5. I, for instance, wouldn't have suggested Indy go looking for the 3 Cauldrons of Inspiration from Celtic mythology. I was even partially considering placing Indy in and around the time the Cuban Missile Crisis was going on as a balancing out of Shambhala. Oh well...it's all fun. Feel free to drop in and tell me I'm a nut if you want. I don't mind.

thanks for the add, but more importantly thanks for keeping us informed

Hey Jarrod, since you're not interested in "Stargirl," how about a game of Brockian Ultra Cricket?

WHAM!

(run away, run away)

*For the uninitiated amongst us, go look it up in "The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy," and for the rules go examine "Life, The Universe And Everything."

PS - Damnit, I forgot the rules of Brockian Ultra Cricket require I use a megaphone, for maximum clarity, to deliver my apology for the basecube bat to your head.

Ahem. (whoan) Damned feedback.

I, StarlightGuard, do regretfully feel totally responsible for beating you, my loyal Ultra Cricket opponent, over the head in that terribly violent manner which caused you to bleed from your ears and likely caused the unlikely reaction of hopping around like a rabbit bitten by a feral cat. It was most unsportsman like and I will spend the rest of the evening sobbing relentlessly into my blood pudding at the physical and likely psychological damage I inflicted upon you.

(whoan)

Everybody duck! Jarrod's awfully handy with a basecube bat!

Haha.. I *AM* handy with a basecube bat. And a basebat cube... AND a cubebase bat... Bah, I'm handy with anything associated the words "base","cube" and "bat". *bows* Now, if you will excuse me, I need to go find a cure for hopping around like a rabbit bitten by a feral cat! (*mumbles* "Curses Starlight, you shall pay for this...You...shall...pay")

I think I have a good idea why you and wiseguy believe I seem to be more articulate than others here. I tend to maintain my, well, "professionalism" I have when I'm writing my spec scripts, such as "Interesting Times: The Fountain of Light," or its five follow ups. There's also "Sweet Dreams: A Sandman's Story." (Which is where the name StarlightGuard comes from. Read it on my profile, where I explain it yet again. It's just below your message.) I look at the entertainment world much differently from the rest of the rabid fanboys: I'm not impressed by all the hype, the flashy visuals, the overabundant CGI, and the fancy camera tricks that give all the style to a movie that has no substance. I hated "The Matrix." I wrote a paper denouncing it in my Philosophy of Film class. I demand more substance from my entertainment. Most of the fanboy films are just over hyped releases with short shelf lives and stories that run from one plot point to the next. Spiderman is a perfect example of this. I saw it in theaters, enjoyed it, got it for Christmas, and then couldn't figure out why I liked it so much the first time around. The next Spiderman movie was even worse. I've had no desire to see the third. Give me a movie that lasts more than one viewing! Give me something that is actually worth caring about, instead of talking down to me like I'm an idiot. You can have the flashy visuals, I like them too, but heaven help us if it doesn't have a real story to tell then it's just visuals and that's not enough to make a movie.

Come Jarrod, you must surrender to the fembots I sent to capture you.

Oh yes, you must also sing along to "Mania Christmas."

(You know you want to. Resistance to singing faux holiday songs is FUTILE! BUWAHAHAHAHA!!!

Damn, it seems my fembots are faulty. But there'll be more, my friend! There'll be more!

I would not have made it this far in life without Jarrod's guidance!
