Can't say I have any plans to be showing off the goods on celluloid anytime soon. A girl has to have some mystique left in her arsenal, whether she be nerd or not.
In reference to the suggestion that I read SNOW CRASH: I have a friend whose going to let me borrow their copy. I'm also going to be picking up the rest of the SPRAWL trilogy books.
I wish I would have known about these particular titles sooner.
Then again, I always feel that books find you when you are ready for them.

I think freedom and choice are often mistaken as one in the same.
Granted you do have the freedome to choose which choice you want to go with, but you're still stuck into strcuture, no matter how loose it is, by the choices themselves.
however, that is one of those "chicken before the egg" arguments.
When I mention Neo's choice between red and blue pill, I forgot to mention that not only is it a desire for truth, but also a whole new set of unique problems-one of those being youth.
If we were given the option to live forever, but look old 9and continue to age), I think 90% of us would choose not to go with that option.
however, if we are given the choice to live forever and remain young and beautiful-almost everyone would volunteer.
Essentially, that's what Neo (and ourselves-in the long run) are faced with. Neverending life and youth. however, one doesn't have to read too many Anne Rice novels to figure out that eternity eventually becomes trite and tiresome.
Technology, it's promises and the blue and red pill are much more than just unique and explorative electronics and offshoots. It's the Fountain of Youth itself!
It's amazing to me that no matter how fancy and complicated what we create and strive for is....it is always just a shell for our basic humanistic needs.

whoah.
Looks like I managed to acomplish exactly what I wanted to do, which was to stir the pot a little.
I really thought this article was going to be the humerous one rather than the fire starter, but hey! I'll take it! ^_^
