Here is the official trailer to Epic. I caught it in front of Life and Pi and thought it looked interesting. Well, until the human character was introduced. Still it looks to have potential. 
Synopsis: Epic is an American 3D computer animated fantasy-adventure comedy film based on William Joyce's children book The Leaf Men and the Brave Good Bugs. Directed by Chris Wedge, the director of Ice Age and Robots. It is being produced by Blue Sky Studios. 
Epic features the voices of Amanda Seyfried, Josh Hutcherson, Christoph Waltz, Steven Tyler, Aziz Ansari, Pitbull, Jason Sudeikis, with Beyoncé Knowles and Colin Farrell.
Epic arrives May 24, 2013.

Yeah it looks gorgeous. Hope the story matches up. My son loved the trailer simply because of the pug (we have one). He was awesome.

 this does look great.  a film for the whole fam to enjoy. nice CGI and the little green soldier reminded me of a micro version of loki kinda..

Neat action sequences foiled by stupid one-liners and a VERY obnoxious poorly sung theme song in the background. Still, might be worth a look when it hits netfilx.

At first I was like, oh no a spiderwick chronicals ripoff, but then it got more interesting.
