NEW Ichabod Promo

Maybe as Mini Series would have been better?

All right Sleepy Hollow you got my attention. Though I still believe the series is doomed to fail. Perhaps FOX should have taken a page from their sister station FX and made this a mini series or a single season run only show like American Horror Story. I see some potential here, but outside of a specter of the week the show won’t last very long. Please prove me wrong FOX.

Synopsis: Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) is resurrected and pulled two and a half centuries through time to find that the world is on the brink of destruction and that he is humanity's last hope, forcing him to team up with a contemporary police officer (Nicole Beharie) to unravel a mystery that dates all the way back to the founding fathers”.

Len Wiseman (Underworld) will direct the pilot. The series is set to premiere Monday September 16th, 2013.

Meh.  See my reaction to the announcement of the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen TV show (i.e. they'll screw it up and then cancel it, a la "Firefly" and "Dollhouse").

If it lasts a season and gets good reviews, I'll check it out.

Fox is so quick to jump on and then throw away.  I don't watch any show like this on Fox.  That said I don't think this looks that great either.

Looks good enough for me.  I will watch.

Being on the left politically I hate Fox News but I don't let that color my opinions of their other programming.  The NFL on Fox is just as good if not better than the NFL on any other channel.  You can't blame Fox for not sticking with Firefly or Dollhouse, that falls squarely on the shoulders of the general public for not watching.  I guarantee you if those shows were getting high ratings they'd still be on.  Television is a business.  In my opinion many of the best shows on television are on Fox's cable channel FX.  I'm a big fan of Justified, The Americans and The Bridge.

That said I don't know if I'll commit to Sleepy Hollow or certainly looks interesting and slightly different.
