What's it like to be a young singer / songwriter trying to make it?

Find out Saturday on Chaotic Radio!! Swansong (Gentlemen Death) and I will be interviewing young artist Michael Annotti this Saturday April 26th on the show.
New and up coming artists rarely get to tell their story unless someone at VH1 happens to pick up their video and play them a few times at 7am when no one is watching anyway! Makes no sense to me.
So I've been searching around myspace looking for new and undiscovered bands and artists that sound good and sound like they have potential. Then to bring in to the show and give them a little forum to tell their story and get a perspective from someone who is working their way up in the business. Michael Annotti is one of those artists.

Best I can describe it is modern folk meets pop meets perhaps a twang on country. It's an original sound and we'll talk one on one with Michael about where he got started, where he finds his vision and where's he's headed next!
Of course, I'll run down the week's Entertainment News, Swansong will bring us Weird and Strange Headlines from all over the world, A Signature Chaotic Radio Dueling Top 5 List, Callers, Music, Entertainment, Insanity, all the lovely little things we do every Saturday night at 10pm east, 7 pm pacific.

Howdy Fellow Maniacs.
My name, as mentioned above, Is Kaeos. Pleasure ta meet ya. I wanna tell ya a little about what I do. :O)
I'm a long time poster in the Forums here at Mania, I think I joined some time in early '03. I'm a proud "Lounge Rat " over in the Forums, but I lurk quite a bit here on the main page checking out articles, news and such.
I'm also the Producer and Host of a little Talk Radio program called "Chaotic Radio!!" Which airs LIVE on the Web every Saturday night at 10pm east, 7pm pacific, which is what I really wanted to talk about.
We are an Entertainment News / Satire / Talk Program, we've been on the air now for almost 1 year. Every week I do a full Hollywood and Entertainment Industry Report covering everything from Movies and Music to Television and Gaming.
This past Saturday we covered Naomi Campbell, The opening nights of Prom Night and Street Kings, The Disney / Pixar 2008 Press Release, Vanilla Ice being arrested, Brad Pitt being a jerk, Howard Stern losing his sidekick and A Special Report on how much Reality TV SUCKS.
We also have a lot of freeking fun! We have Callers, Segments, Weird and Strange Headlines, Games, Dueling Top 5 and Top 10 Lists, Guests, Features and a lot more.
A lot of you probably know my co-host on the show, you know him here as Swansong, I call him Gentlemen Death and He's blogged here about the show a few times. He is also the Psychotic Genius behind those "Headlines" I mentioned a minute ago.
I am a true believer in Mania as the #1 Entertainment Site on the web and what we all do here is what has continually inspired Chaotic Radio and what we do on the show. Now, the folks in the Forums have endured a very long, very old thread in the "Asylum" where we talk about the show every week, but my hope is to branch out here on the main page and expand our presence on Mania. I sincerely believe that Chaotic Radio is a logical extension of what Mania stands for.
