The Wolfman Movie Review (Article) - 2/12/2010 6:17:09 AM

I saw the midnight show of this movie and it was not worth it at all. I was really kind of excited for it too. Rotten Tomatoes has it in the 30% range, but I can almost never believe them. Whish I had. I think I'm gonna check in at before paying to see Percy. I've been reading their site for a few weeks now and I agree with them most of the time.

Edge of Darkness Review (Article) - 1/29/2010 4:43:14 PM

Sounds like it hard for Rob to separate his job as a reviewer of films from his personal problems about Mel Gibson's public persona. It seem he has fallen in to a role many reviewers do; they are unable to give a film a fare shake because of their opinions of the actor's public life in the tabloids. If you are looking for a site that give an honest review of the film, go to I discovered these guys a few weeks ago and they seem closer to the mark than most.

I was looking for a review of the movie and these guys had one of the first ones I found. Sounds worse than a B-.

Five Movies That Avatar Ripped Off (Article) - 8/31/2009 6:30:37 AM

I've been reading this list articles and while occasionally they hold some merit they same to generally just fill up space. They don't always seem to well thought out. The batle for terra reference seems to be your best argument, it seems more logical to have based the article around that. Might be an idea to maybe put it out to your talk backers to do an article or collaborate with them on this lists.

Unspecified Title (Article) - 7/15/2009 10:52:37 AM

We are officially a nation of retards. This film leaves out major plot points, and for those of you who forgot, PLOT is what this series is about. It is not a Tweeny love story, that is what Hollywood has made it because that's what sells. JK Rowling has allowed them to walk over her principles and I think less of her for it. This movie should be a major setup for the final film, but it's not. This movie is two hours of high school hallway giggle gossip with about a half an hour of story crammed in. Anyone that considers themselves a fan of the series, should not embrace this movie. Embracing the movie only continues to allow Studio Execs to shred movies based on books. This movie is 95% Fresh over at Rotten Tomatoes and got an A here, and this officially confirms that our nation is a mass of  mindless idiots. We'll take "Who's kissing who?" over prophecy, history, and suspense. Our nation and the world at large embraced these books, so why do we accept this? It's for the same reasons that we accept buy new iPhones every year, because the newest one has a video camera or a compass; or why we pay $1.50 for a 16oz Coke at the store, but sitting next to it is a 2 liter for $1. It's because we don't pay attention; we are mindless drones that let ourselves be led and fed every piece of crap corporate America wants us to so they can make a fast buck. You know if we let Harry Potter bomb at the box office then maybe they'd think twice about shredding the books. Maybe if we did that more often we could turn things around. But it won't happen, becuase it's easier to just bend over and take it, than to stand up and fight for something better. If you want to see a movie, that is supposed to be a comedy, but I call it a frightful glimpse of our future, go out and rent Idiocracy. It's where we are heading if we don't change our ways.

What about the aerialbots and the stunticons? They formed large robots.

LAND OF THE LOST (Article) - 6/5/2009 8:37:22 AM

I watched it had I'd have to disagree. I thought the movie had alot humor and some fun action. The film also stays faithful to the show in its atmosphere. Where the film strays is in the characters. No longer a family but two scientists and a hillbilly. The characters and their action in the film lead what could have been a very faithful adaptation astray. The film is not for younger viewers, which angers me a little bit because they are advertising it heavilly to children. I walked into this film expecting something along the lines of the live action Flintstones movie, I was thankfully disappointed. I do think this film is going to miss its mark however do to its misleading advertising campaign. I'm sure there are going to be more than a few parents that walk out for their money back.

Tony Scott Confirms ALIEN Prequel (Article) - 6/1/2009 7:12:03 AM

I think Ridley is a great director and who better than him or Cameron to do something with the franchise. What I'd like to see more than anything else would be a propper sequel to aliens done rather than a prequel. Erase the horrible third and forth movies from continuity and reinvigorate the franchise at the point things went wrong.

TERMINATOR SALVATION (Article) - 5/21/2009 6:57:14 AM

I saw the movie and I think C might be too generous. If you're a fan of ther series at all I don't think this movies delivers on any level. I hate to say it but I found the movie borring. The plot is terrible, it's full of inconsistancies and gaping holes. I think more than any thing else you'll be asking yourself 'Why' through the entire movie.  It's just a bad movie, and the more I think about it, the more I don't like it. Maybe because they made it PG-13 they could build the movie on special effects, but the film comes off like the a direct to dvd movie plot with the biggest budget you've ever seen.
