A month after Sony Pictures announced that they had acquired Ehren Kruger Bradley Camp's original sci-fi spec Invertigo, it looks like they have found a director to tackle the production. Deadline reports that helmer D.J. Caruso (I Am Number Four, Disturbia) has been tasked with leading from the director's chair while Neal Mortiz fills in at the producer role.
Plot Concept: The script tells the story about a satellite that, after crashing in New York City, causes the gravitational pull of the Earth to be reversed.
I'm the same when I see the name Caruso... though I reassure myself with the thought that roles where it is required to take off your shades slowly, stare off into the distance, then chew on the leg of them all manly like in every second scene are fairly limited.
you never know this could be good . judge after watching not before.. though i am number four was borrrrring, still we can only hope people learn from their mistakes and end up Surprising us or just making another big mess up.. only time will tell..
