23.5 Degrees: And the Quest of the Quantum Kismet - Aug 25, 2008 - 03:39pm
Yes, Professor W ploughed his dagger into my heart with deadly skill. Profound and cold, he cut and cleave like a dart.
Imagine! I who have been called Angel, Muse, Madonna, all in one."
On bended knee he should come to me and offer his apology.
23.5 Degrees: And the Quest of the Quantum Kismet - Aug 24, 2008 - 02:37pm
My! Professor you rise like lions after slumber and shake your chains to earth like dew!
And may I ask, dear traveller from an antique land, as to why I, alone, am privy to your barbed tongue which rains fire, and hail, with such burst?
As to your friend, I'm glad to hear the right road was not wholly lost are gone as I do believe the woods were getting to him.
23.5 Degrees: And the Quest of the Quantum Kismet - Aug 24, 2008 - 12:23pm
Misguided?! Yet there is a pleasure in the pathless woods--To mingle with the Universe, and feel what I can ne'er express, yet cannot all conceal.
And this friend can you describe him for me?
but...you did already bite.
23.5 Degrees: The Hymns of Hierosolyma - Aug 03, 2008 - 03:40am
My dearest Leavis,
It was with great sorrow that I say adieu. The wheel is in motion though. So,if I may use these borrowed words to say to you, All that spirits desire, spirits attain.
Your friend
PS: I've sent a parting gift to you as well. Check your messages. I hope you like it.
23.5 Degrees: The Labyrinth's Lament - Jul 28, 2008 - 06:14pm
hmmm...No, I do not recall that our friend had trouble walking. He knew Mr.B. And G--do you know if his attire came complete with cape and jewelry?
Rainless state? Are we speaking of Sin City?
I prefer white wine made from red grapes.
23.5 Degrees: The Labyrinth's Lament - Jul 27, 2008 - 12:05pm
I'm trying to clear a path with my sword for you. Are we talking about the Professor again? If so, I've met him plenty of times.
Still, I search for the thread of Ariadne. Perhaps, you can tell me then about Mr. G. You say he peddles his wares? What wares would those be?
No, my name does not begin with A, but it does belong to antiquity. How long have you been around? And where do you come from?
Are you certain Falernum does not alter your mind?
23.5 Degrees: The Labyrinth's Lament - Jul 27, 2008 - 07:47am
This friend...can you introduce him? Or will his name remain a mystery? Can you describe him?
Please to meet you, but my name is not Stella Maris. Can you guess my name?
The wine helps? Sure it wasn't the smell of colitas?
23.5 Degrees: The Labyrinth's Lament - Jul 26, 2008 - 01:38pm
Humpty Dumpty... There was one egg I wanted to save. Unfortunately, nothing wakes the egg not even the breeze at dawn. Poor egg.
Mr. G. Have you met him?
23.5 Degrees: The Labyrinth's Lament - Jul 26, 2008 - 05:28am
Ugh...Maghead cults--just throw them in the file with the fake genealogies, fake documents, fake artifacts that flow freely in the fantasy land of Rennes le Chateau (and surrounding areas)
What is it about Rennes le Chateau, the PoS,etc. that inspires a treasure trove of misguided souls to take scamming to a new level?
23.5 Degrees: The Chant of the Canted Companions - Jul 16, 2008 - 01:22pm
Ah, Leavis, you are mistaken. Stella Maris and I are not one and the same. No, Leavis you are not communicating with Stella. I have found for you, however, an early column of Stella's hinting as to why she is not registered on the forum.
Yes, indeed, my Mr. H. is not your Mr. H. and it saddens me, mon ami,to learn the breeze at dawn holds no interest for you.
http://www.mania.com/truth-against-world_article_57451.html
Stella know Chartres this I feel. But don't take my word. You will see for yourself.
23.5 Degrees: The Chant of the Canted Companions - Jul 15, 2008 - 01:45pm
Leavis do you often ponder how the herring, displays the rainbow colors of the setting sun?
Why, yes, I'm very familiar with your Mr. H. Did he introduce you to the Abbé?
So sorry about the headaches as they must keep you awake...but if by chance you make it to the dawn you will find the breeze has secrets to tell you.
I would have some courtesy for your professor as he has stole many a mans soul and faith. Do you play violin?
23.5 Degrees: The Chant of the Canted Companions - Jul 14, 2008 - 06:35pm
Mirror, Mirror on the wall...Gawd, I could use a weekend in Monarque Hotel. Wonder if it's like the Hotel California? Leavis! You should have some sympathy for your vitner. He sounds like a man of wealth and taste.
23.5 Degrees: The Chant of the Canted Companions - Jul 13, 2008 - 04:18pm
Supposedly, it was Jacques Cassini who observed the occultation of Gamma Virginis on April 21, 1720. Cassini's father, of course, was the famed Giovanni Cassini, director of the Paris Observatory.
Btw Leavis did you find your vitner? I would indeed be interested in locating him myself.
Buzzkill, are you STILL mulling?
23.5 Degrees: Interlude: Clupean Capers - Jul 09, 2008 - 05:34pm
hmmm...I think Mr. Hayward would argue he is real and that there is a fire down below although I understand it to be a story never written, perhaps a past through tomorrow into a Future History.
You might want to mix that Falernum with something. In case you have trouble finding a bottle of Falernum; Da Vinci Gourmet produces a non-alcoholic version.
23.5 Degrees: Interlude: Clupean Capers - Jul 09, 2008 - 04:57am
Red Herring: The Movie! What an excellent idea. Hairdressers?! I thought we called them hairstylists now. There have been no promises made, so this is not a Maranatha. As Stella wrote whether it's real or not doesn't matter. Once you understand this...there's a game for you to play.
23.5 Degrees: The Squirrels Have Stopped Smoking - Jun 28, 2008 - 07:03am
Thank goodness the squirrels have stopped smoking! Smoking is simply terrible for their health! Very good news!
hmmm...feast day of Raymond Lull approaching. Very interesting. Thanks for the reminder.
23.5 Degrees: Bloodline--The Movie: Tomb Be or Not Tomb Be? - Jun 21, 2008 - 04:23am
Wow! Interesting fact Baigent related about the flag covering the supposed mummified remains of some poor soul. I would say someone obviously did not do their homework...but then there's so many examples of that in Bloodlie--where would you begin? And I have to say, thanks very much for the instructions on the proper etiquette for opening a bottle of champagne! Next time my date shows up with a sword and bottle of Dom, I won't call the authorities.
23.5 Degrees: Fee, Fi, Faux Fun - Jun 05, 2008 - 03:52am
Berlioz writes:
"PS It looks as though Rob Howells is "Arcadia", who in his comment makes ad hominem arguments against Stella Maris and advocates we all go and see the movie. Shame, it would have been a good opportunity for Mr Howells to respond to the many points that have been raised about his film."
Mnemosyne asks/says--I'm having a hard time wading through the interview. What arguements against Stella Maris if any could Mr. Howells give? Can you give an example? EVEN BETTER, why doesn't Mr. Howells write a comment here? I did hear a little bit of the interview before giving up in frustration. Frankly, rather than discuss anything of real substance it was more like a cheerleader infomercial, discussing how everyone LOVED the movie and how everyone was coming up to them (Howells, Barnett, Burgess) and telling them how THANKFUL they were for them exposing the secret.
I do think it would be good to hear from someone at Bloodline to clear up any mythconceptions.
23.5 Degrees: Fee, Fi, Faux Fun - Jun 02, 2008 - 03:59am
hmmm...I found that the house of Lévis, were the seigneurs of Mirepoix--famous name in Languedoc at least in the 11th century. Now, interestingly, a Mirepoix can be the French name for a combination of onions, carrots and celery....hmm...3 like the 3 chevrons
23.5 Degrees: Fee, Fi, Faux Fun - Jun 01, 2008 - 05:02am
Intriguing odd twist to the story--meaning that one tomb has been set up to protect the identification of the other tomb. Anyone know more about this House of Levis?
23.5 Degrees Movie Review: Bloodline---The Movie - May 26, 2008 - 04:52pm
Good news for those living in LA! Looks like Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead will open there June 13th. I believe the movie is about a zombie chicken.
23.5 Degrees Movie Review: Bloodline---The Movie - May 24, 2008 - 03:16pm
I didn't see Bloodline as I was at Speedracer. What AMAZES me is how does someone have the good fortune to drop their video camera down a hole in a "clumsy moment" and end up with clear footage of a tomb with a body no less wrapped in white linen with a blood red cross on it. Odds? Someone--please give me the odds of this happening. Thank goodness there were some people who made wise choices and saw "Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead" instead.
Interlude: Eggsistential - Mar 31, 2008 - 01:23pm
Gratz...Forum Troll. So, this is where your career has taken you, SlamShut. Your girlfriend must be proud...Oh, wait a minute....You don't have ONE because who wants to be seen with you, Forum Troll. Why don't you go get your OWN column...Oh, but wait...No one has ASKED you. If you really didn't care, you wouldn't be here. So, here's a suggestion. Why DON'T you read the column and past columns and come on over to the dark side.
Interlude: Eggsistential - Mar 30, 2008 - 02:18pm
Obviously reading this column is creating bitterness inside of you, Slamshut. Why not read something else or better yet, go write something. I liked your piece on "Flicker." It's a nice day outside. Why not go outside and play? Go play outside, Slamshut. Go play.
Interlude: Eggsistential - Mar 29, 2008 - 01:27pm
Then why do you need to comment? IIRC, from past comments you pretty much stated that you were "out of here" because this weekly column didn't live up to your own literary needs and genius. So, why are you here? Just to be negative? Yes, I guess that would pretty much sum you and your talent up.
In Hoc Signo Vinces - Mar 24, 2008 - 07:25pm
Count me in. As the story goes on I think more people will start to get it, but it does require reading it from the beginning.

And the Desert Shall Bloom - Feb 03, 2008 - 02:12pm
Ah Slamshut. I totally get you now. You're not jealous of Stella. You're issue is...you have a small dick and this is why your so bitter. You even write about other people's dicks.
