I agree with Jarrod. If the studio wants to make a sequel to Disturbia, they're going to have to come up with a diiferent plot so not to rip off their own movie.

No offense meant to Ford and his age or physical condition, I'm just saying that wouldn't the studio consider it a little too risky for Harrison to be performing any stunts? By the way, what kind of stunts does he have in mind?Does he want to jump off a bridge or something crazy like that?

Thomas Kretschmann...Zero resemblance to Kirk. Chris Pine...nah. Chris Evans..not mature enough. I like Van Dien for the part, well for one...his resemblance to Shatner back in the day, and two he just has the right look. Strong, mature, and he can play cavalier, cowboy, and leader. All the qualities that shatner had as Kirk. Sure his acting resume isn't up there with Cruise, or Clooney,but he has the character and qualities, from past roles, that match the Kirk we all remember from the original series...plus he looks more like Kirk than the other guys mentioned.

Actually I take that back about Battle of the Planets. I don't think it would translate well here in the US, but I could definitely see it being done by TOHO, the Japanese film company, that created Godzilla.

I think they should start by changing the title. First of all, the words "Begins" and "Rise" have become overused in recent movie titles Come up with something more original. How about... Terminator:Future War or Terminator:Armegeddon
