It's Igor, as in "eeegor."
My brother often mentions "eyegor" as well, simply because "Young Frankenstein" is such a favorite.
It is important to me not to parody a parody. Besides, how could you make fun of Mel Brooks? All the serious stuff needs to be deflated and all the fun things need to be worshipped.
Why parody a parody? It shows a real lack of originality. Some may think my "Igor" does, but it's flatly making fun of just the Frankenstein and Igor archetypes, not the actual story. Yes, some of it leaks in, but you can't help it. I like to think of my project as what 2004's Van Helsing COULD'VE BEEN, if done properly. There was always just too much potential.
