This movie is going to totally bomb or totally blow us away. I think Man of Steel is the film of the Summer personally. This movie should be epic. I want it to be epic... especially being a Marvel man myself. I really want DC to hit a home run. I want to be as engrossed as an adult as I was with Chris Reeves when I was a kid. Please make belive a Man can Fly again

@Wormlander And one more thing I did explain why I hated those films... Brian Singer... And Brett Ratner was a studio tool on the set of X-3.

@Wormlander if I really need to go into why the 1st 3 Xmovies suck, then you really need help. Cannon aside with exception of Patrick Stewart / Ian McKellan interplay, those were some of the most poorly written films on a whole. With the exception of certain scenes most of the characters pale shadows of themselves and the casting was horrid. Alan Cummings opening scene in X-2 was brilliant. The rest of that movie was hollow and weak. All the X-Men's powers were retardedly dumbed down. Why was angel in X-3? Really tell me what purpose he served? I really don't have to justify my untter disdain of the films to you or anyone else for that matter.

You have to understand Wormlander I'm in that vast minority that Don't like the Dark Knight films either.

As far as other comic book properties making a mark Blade & Blade II were brilliant. And even Blade III had its moments. And we won't talk about alot of the Graphic Novel adaptations that were done during that time that made huge strokes in the right direction... Raod to Perdition and History of Viloence to name a couple.

As I said before. I don't like Brian Singers work on genre material. I love when he does his own thing.

@Wormlander: For me, its simple Bryan Singer has yet to do a Super Hero Film worth the celluliod it was filmed on. X-Men 1 & 2, Superman Returns. Need I say more. I have no faith in this movie what so ever because its a Singer/Fox marriage. The Wolverine will be another disappointment in my opinion as well. They've given everything away in the teaser trailer. The action in all the X films (with the exception of 1st class) has been quite lack luster comparatively speaking. This has way too many characters in for any real development, so the new characters probably won't even be named. Or they will show getting obliterated by the sentinals. Suckage plain and simple.

Well the level of suckage for this film just rose another 3 feet. What really sucks is that thousands of people are going to say this crap fest is good.

I think this going to work... I'm digging the way they are progressing and using the stuff that works. As much as I love the comiccs and the original stuff. It just would not have translated to the screen well.
