MEGA Trailer

Here is the first full trailer for Hercules: The Legend Begins. The film looks to be a mix of Gladiator, 300, and Clash of the Titans. It could be fun. It looks like fun. The production though looks to have a lot of CGI. That could really hurt it.

Synopsis: In Ancient Greece 1200 B.C., a queen succumbs to the lust of Zeus to bear a son promised to overthrow the tyrannical rule of the king and restore peace to a land in hardship. But this prince, Hercules, knows nothing of his real identity or his destiny. He desires only one thing: the love of Hebe, Princess of Crete, who has been promised to his own brother. When Hercules learns of his greater purpose, he must choose: to flee with his true love or to fulfill his destiny and become the true hero of his time. The story behind one of the greatest myths is revealed in this action-packed epic - a tale of love, sacrifice and the strength of the human spirit.

Hercules: The Legend Begins arrives in March of 2014.

Is this strait to dvd? It's hard to tell. Some parts look cool but for the most part it looks really boring. That lightening bolt scene looked really fake. All this trailer did for me is make me want to see a trailer for  the Rocks version!

What a pile of shit...

So here we go again...let thye Fanboy rage-quits sound off below my comment. This movie will indeed be a great visual spectacle. Will it make any advances in modern fiml-making? No. Will it win an Academy Award for grounbreaking cinematography. No. Will it have Scott Adkins being a Bad-ass? Yes. Will it have awesome captivating fight scenes? Yes. Will it be filled with blood and gore? Yes.

Still not seeing any way this movie can be a steaming Pile @ MIO82 except you're probably one of those guys that has not liked a movie since you saw the Godfather. Fans like you disgust me and are the reason why we don't wind up seeing more movies like this.

are you serious? This movie looks like crap. Is this really about Hercules? I am confused isn't Herules the son of Zeus? Has extrodinary strenght? This moie looks like an attempt to place hercules into the 300 universe. I would of preferred a film regarding The Trias of Hercules. With all the super hero films banking it would of been decent to just have a stronger version of Hercules. It woulnd't of hurt to also just make a film on the Marvel version of Hercules. But I am being real here this movie looks crappy. I can predict a C rating right now.

This trailer is better than last weeks tease. You get the feel of the story and the whole look of it. There is nothing bad about the elements shown. My only problem is that instead of a cool renedition of its own it feel like a combination of other movies.

Its look and feel is like a combo of 300 and the Spartacus TV series which for me lowers my expectations and desire to see it. They arejust doing a film to rideon the coattails of another style and are doing it years after it was already introduced. I'd much rather it had its own look and feel.

I thought this was for the Dwayne "Rock" Johnson Herc movie... glad to see i was wrong

jedibanner 10/14/2013 3:31:16 PM

Is this the movie based on the Radical comic book that was suppose to include Dwayne Johnson in it?

Looks ok but is lacking the ''star'' power.

This looks terrible.

I almost turned off the trailer at one point.  That's how bad this looks.  Hope I'm wrong, but I have zero interest in seeing this flick at the moment.
