Warner Brothers Home Entertainment has released the premiere trailer for their Justice League: War. Check out the trailer and the full press release below.

Synopsis: When the powerful Darkseid and his massive, relentless forces invade Earth, a group of previously unaligned super heroes – misunderstood and, in some cases, hunted by the authorities – discover the only way to fend off the attack will be to work together as a cohesive unit. Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, Shazam and, in his origin story, Cyborg combine their respective talents in an all-out battle to save the planet. Based on the 2012 graphic novel, “Justice League: Origin,” by Geoff Johns & Jim Lee, JUSTICE LEAGUE: WAR provides a glance into the world before the Justice League was created, and offers the initial animated incarnation of DC Entertainment’s “The New 52.”

Produced by Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment, JUSTICE LEAGUE: WAR features the voices of Jason O’Mara (Vegas, Terra Nova), Christopher Gorham (Covert Affairs), Justin Kirk (Weeds), Alan Tudyk (Suburgatory), Serenity, Firefly), Michelle Monaghan (Mission Impossible III), Shemar Moore (Criminal Minds), Sean Astin (LOTR films), Bruce Thomas (Army of Darkness) and Steve Blum (Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox). Producer is James Tucker and director is Jay Oliva from a script by Heath Corson.

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will distribute JUSTICE LEAGUE: WAR as a Bu-ray Combo Pack, DVD and for Digital Download on February 4, 2013.

Looks like a lot of fun. I hope they keep cranking them out. I would like to see more of a series rather than all this jumping around from different JLA story lines.

i loved how all the old ones kind of linked together (Superman/Batman TAS, JLI, JL, Batman Beyond). There was like one continuity. We were spoiled. hope this one is as good as the last

I get more excited about WB/DC animated films than I do for the live action stuff all of them have been fun except maybe Superman Unbound.  They definitley top Marvel in the animation category and Calamity Johnson I do agree with you that I liked the shared universe in all of the Dini/Timm cartoons as it made for some really fun episodes.

I am still surprised that on the cusp of making a Justice League movie, that they would be cranking out different versions of the Justice League and how they formed. That just doesn't seem logical to me. But... I guess the cartoon films are for the fanboys and the movie will target a larger crowd.

I guess I remember back to when they would put out some original product.  Not just grabbing a couple of back issues and saying "Hey why not do this?"

Not sure if it is a cost cutting move - well this is already ours so let's squeeze some more money out of it - or if they are doing it out of a feeling of safety zone.

I'm not saying that the last few have not been done well, it's just that I've already read them.  So why not give me something new in exchange for my cash?

Somebody's incompetant nephew must have been must have done the sound mixing for this trailer.  I can barely hear any dialogue over that blaring music.

Hate that Wonder Woman costume.  The leather jacket and pants look is a HUGE improvement over this one.  That, and there is no Aquaman are my only complaints.  But I do like that Shazam is in there (we're calling him that these days instead of Captain Marvel, right?)

Looking forward to this.  Wish they would branch out a bit.  We did get a Flash movie last time, but they did have to put it under the JL banner.
