20th Century Fox has released a new featurette for The Wolverine. After watching the footage here, some new, it looks as if Fox and Marvel may have finally gotten the character right. Only time will tell.

The Plot: Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.

The Wolverine features Will Yun Lee, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima, and Brian Tee.
The Wolverine arrives in theaters on July 26th, 2013.

I wish they hadn't  included comments form Lauren Schuler Donner, she is a hack producer that has NO faith or affection for comic book source material.  She was the one who promised us a faithful and "organic" version of Deadpool in Origins:Wolverine.  How'd that work out?  Ilke Wise, I've got my fingers crossed, and I've got a buddy who will insist I go see this with him in theaters, so I guess they'll get my $10 either way but everytime I am reminded of Lauren Schuler Donner and FOX's track record, I am not optomistic.  I didn't see anything in the "featurette" to change my mind.  For what it's worth, I'm actually OK with the robot silver samurai though.  Here's to hoping.

I really do.

I with you  Reek. Nothing about this movie is exciting me. I just don't care about these X-Movies coming from Fox. No faith and Lauren Schuler Donner should just tell everyone that she wants money... and gives less that a damn about the Characters
