The Walking Dead: Prey Review (Article) - 3/18/2013 10:56:21 AM

momitchell7, I understand your point, but I just feel, that truck of his would have made SOME noise and all it would take is to hear the rumbling of those pipes off in the distance to let her know that 'oh shit, he is back out on the hunt'.  As for the 'safe' way into the prison, I wasn't aware of a safe way in?  There is the road, the woods (where she is at and I would think the most unsafe) or the back where Tyreese came in.  I would have chosen the open area so they would see me coming waving my arms!

It will be interesting next week!  Can't wait!

The Walking Dead: Prey Review (Article) - 3/18/2013 7:39:50 AM

Sweet, 1st to post!

I agree I was not wanting or needing another episode with Andrea as the main focus, but this was a great episode full of tension and drama.  As much as I hate who the Gov is, he is one bad-ass crazy dude.  There is no doubt his crazy has to be put down.

I also agree with your take on Tyreese's story.  I don't know how this is going to shake out.  I believe he has a good heart, doesn't want trouble, but does have some old world morals left.

The downer was Andrea not knowing she was being followed as she got close to the prison.  There is NO OTHER noise in the world happening, just leaves, birds, branches, grass and the grunts.  Well shot, but a downer.  And I don't the group is going to save her, that will be up to Milton.

RIP and prayers to his family.

The Walking Dead: Arrow on the Doorpost Review (Article) - 3/11/2013 11:19:35 AM

While I totally agree with your assessment on how this 'summit' should have went, I feel it was better than a 'C'.  I played the sit down scenerio in my head so many times, just to ask the simple question - WHY do we need to fight each other.  Especially the group outside, why in the hell am I wanting to fight a living person?  Don't we all just want to LIVE and survive?

As for the Gov's offer - oh HELL no.  I am going to give you a good soldier in the HOPE you won't come back and attack?  I was tellin my son that considering the circumstance these people are in, I would play the 'You wanna dance, let's dance' card.  The Gov ain't budging, so what the hell we waiting for, lets' draw our guns and call it a day.  Screw your army, I bet money your army decides on peace after your psycho butt is out of the way.

Based on the previews, I have got to believe there is no further conversation about giving Michonne up.  I actually thought he was going to ask for the baby.  I know it sounds crazy, but that is what hit me when he started his line about what Rick had.

My son had to watch this just last weekend for a German project.  I hadn't seen it since it came out and it is STILL a very good movie.  Very moving and well done.

I have to agree 100%.  This was a very good episode.  Your points on Rick are spot on and while I didn't leave this episode with a smile, it did give me some comfort seeing Rick absorb and accept what could be next for him if he doesn't change.

Also very glad that Michonne has decided to 'join' along and try to be part of this new group, her new home and I am glad she was able to show Carl and Rick that.

The Walking Dead: I Aint a Judas Review (Article) - 2/25/2013 10:30:09 AM

I know I do not want another episode centered around Andrea.  No No No.

It was GREAT to see the gang in the prison get back to some normalcy and a great way to start episode by Herschel yelling at Rick and getting his head back into the game.  And Carl's comments to his dad, was well said, especially when he said it in a supportive, caring way.

Merle was a HOOT and while i agree it won't or can't last, it was nice to see what a he could do and how he could act.

Ditto that Monkeyfoot!!  Do whatever it takes to make it GREAT!

The Walking Dead: Home Review (Article) - 2/20/2013 5:51:16 AM

I believe the driver of the Zombie delievery truck was shown making it back to the Gov's truck.

I do agree with that point InnerSanctum, there was NO sense of concern by the group as a whole.  While I thought it was funny how Carol was letting her guard down while they were putting up the barriers, it didn't cross my mind that they weren't thinking of what might be coming to their door.

How did one of the Gov's guys get into a tower?
