I said it here after I saw a trailer that was too long and the movie looked endless and complicated. Cloud Atlas was going to flop.

 Good news all around, the last Twilight and it didn't do as well as they hoped. Now lets get back to making an interesting franchise.

 Cloud Atlas was great, not as great as the book of course where there aren't any constraints. The fact that folk that always yell for originality kept their fat hypocritical asses at home is no surprise yet here they're all going in droves to watch Taken 2. Anyway CA isn't for the masses hopefully foreign numbers and dvd sales will bring it into the black over time.

LIFE OF PI next week, that and Cloud Atlas were my 2 biggies. After that I can settle down and wait for The Hobbit which will get bigger in my radar as it approaches.

 Don't get so excited ztigr, Stephenie Meyer is planning to write maybe more of this crap... so it's maybe not the last time that we'll have to endure it.

The only movie I'm looking forward to seeing is Skyfall.  Still haven't had a chance to catch it, but I think some friends and I are going on Friday.  I know The Hobbit is coming up, but I just can't get into any of the Lord of the Rings stuff.  I can't think of anything else on my radar that is coming out until next year, but I feel like I'm forgetting something.

Twilight is over.  I never was really into it, but I'm not an anti-Twilight person by any means.  I'm kind of glad I won't really have to hear that much about it anymore, but really that was just a minor annoyance.

I really enjoyed Skyfall. I liked the set up for more movies in the current series. I would have LOVED to have seen Sean Conery play the old man at the end. That would have been a great small role for him to finish his career.

How is Pitch Perfect still making money?

 To bad its not actually over though. The author has agreed they can make more movies and perhaps a tv show.

Life of Pi another stupid movie... Hell with that one. I think i'll go Enjoy a lil mayhem and RED DAWN this week =) yup i think so. 

 I saw Cloud Atlas.  Originality had nothing to do with the fact that it wasn't a very good film.  In fact, for some reason, it reminded me of the Atlus Shrugged film that came out a few years ago.  It was laughably and eye rolling bad.  It deserved its fate.  

Skyfall definitely deserves the praise.  One of the top five best Bond films.  

My theory on Pitch Perfect is because a lot of people still enjoy Eastwood's films and that there are very, very few films made for an aging population.  Just trying to find an adult centered film is a challange.  Finding something my parents would enjoy is an even greater challenge.  Perhaps, it isn't all about the Twilight fans and the kids when it comes to demographics.  

Argo is the only one on the list that has recieved the best buzz.  I see Oscars in its future.  I have yet to see it myself, so I can't say.  It is one that I'll have to wait until it is released on DVD.  Too many genre films coming out soon.  

What?  Twilight is not over?  *Gasp* I'd never have suspected that this would be the case.  Yes, I assumed, that they would keep this tripe going as long as people are willing to fork out cash for this garbage.  

Life of Pi...looks like a film that really capitalizes on 3D.  I'm interested.  

Twinklight beat out Lincoln?  This country really has gone down the commode . . .
