Jason Momoa IS Aquaman (Officially) (Article) - 10/15/2014 1:09:38 PM

I think that DC and Warner Brothers have these instances where they have the world by the balls and they blow it. See Batman Forever, Superman 3, in the bginning and later Superman Returns, the Green Lantern, Jonah Hex during the Dark Knight years. Even then they let that Batman mythos slip away. Marvel (who has a horrible animation department, storywise) has seen those mistakes and moved forward with their properties in a very successful avenue.

That being said, DC has also floundered with the NEW 52. They wanted newer readers, but changed everything that mattered to the die hards. Marvel keeps evolving to take on new readers and maintain their history. DC and Warner have great success on TV, can Marvel match it? Yet again DC/ Warner has dumped on their own shows and the fans in the recasting of The Flash.

Stan Lee is just a figured head anyway now, who gets a nice sum to put his name on the comics and appear in their movies. Do you honestly think he shows up writer's meetings?

The Flash: The Fastest Man Alive Review (Article) - 10/15/2014 11:30:22 AM

Icon, I loved the 90's show (have the complete series and the soundtrack) and I have to say I like this, a lot. It is fun and a great introduction tot he character. I still have no interest in Arrow, but the Flash has me on Tuesday nights!

I am not siding with them!!!!! I am saying you take your chance every time you start reading the comment section. To avoid this, read the comic if you can.

Hanso, I also sent you a message on Sept. 4th. See your facebook page bro.

The Walking Dead: No Sanctuary Review (Article) - 10/14/2014 1:11:23 PM

First of all I didn't SPOIL a single thing in my review of the episode. Nor did I mention anything about what happened in the comic in relation to this episode.

What I meant by my comment was that it costs you nothing, but time to go read the comic. Sit down at a Barnes and Noble and pick up graphic novel. They won't even ask you to leave. If you don't have the time, I'm sorry for making that comment then. I don't have time for a lot of things either.

There is also nothing that says this TV show will follow the Comic. It hasn't! Shane lived far longer on the show in relation to the book. Several cast members are now dead on TV, but alive in the book as well. Hell Daryl doesn't even exist in the comic (yet).

If you don't want the show or the comic to be spoiled PLEASE don't read the comment section. You have to know going into this that someone will drop some sort of news or hint about what they think is coming (based on the already existing property). Did I ruin the Civil War, RDJ, Cap 3 post because I mentioned Cap and Iron Man take different sides if Cap 3 happens?

Did our Gotham critic Spoil Gotham two weeks ago when she mentioned Bruce Wayne will become Batman?

I don't read the GoT reviews because of the spoiling trolls. I learned my lesson. Maybe we all have.

Oh and I offered Hanso and chance to review The Walkign Dead again and he never got back to me.

I am far more into Gotham, than I was of AoS at this point.

The Walking Dead: No Sanctuary Review (Article) - 10/13/2014 1:26:29 PM

There is nothing that says the comic is scripture and the TV series will follow it 100%. the comic is part of pop culture... if you don't want spoilers then don't read the comments. Or go read the comic! Pull up to a Barnes and Noble, have some coffee and read it for free there!
