I am completely impressed by this trailer.  I agree with fatpantz as well.  The villan of the week formula is death to inspired sci-fi series.

Quiet free comic book day this year......seems to have been overshadowed by the May the Fourth celebrations.

Molina as Doc Ock was friggin perfect.  It is the main reason that I appreciate him being on this list.  He can bring believability to oddness of character.

That is afrikkinmazing.  I am totally on board with this.  Elfquest back in the spotlight could be a great thing for the Pini's.  I really do hope that the timing is right for them to get a deal done for a good adaptation in another format.

I have the book, but I will not read it untill after I have seen this movie.  This movie looks too good to make it a shadow of what I hear is an amazing book.  I will probably crack it the same night that I see the movie.

Thank from me as well.  It was a great read from start to finish.  I do have a problem with the overlooking Sergio Aragones being the lone exception.  Humour in comics is essential, and nobody is funnier than him.  He can illustrate in a few simple lines the humour in a captured moment in time, and do it in a quarter of the time it would take any other artist.  His artistic speed alone is stunning.  His Mad Marginals were perfect for the medium, and helped put the comic back in comic book with Groo.

It is all falling into place for Fred Hembeck to take the number one spot.

I used to have a great Spiderman poster by Moebius hanging in my room that I would study for ages.  That one image set me out to discover more of his work, and I was always amazed at the work that turned up.  Unlimited range, with the characters always looking natural within their environment, not just placed somewhere with the background as an afterthought to fill out the frame.

Sienkiewicz did some really radical covers for Marvel that really elevated the books that they were on.  His depiction of Warlock from New Mutants sticks with me right through to today.

This and the new Wolverine trailer made my day.  Great trailer.  I kinda hope to see more Odin power unleashed in this one.
