I am so glad to see some of you saying the same thing I have said about Ratner. He is not that bad but not a great director. His movies are enjoyable. I see the bandwagon still exsists. I am not sure he's right for the job but he isn't that bad. X3 well thats a useless arguement because alot of the faults were not his doing. If someone else had made the exact same movie it probably wouldn't be as hated so much. I will have to wait to see this because he has done nothing like this type of film before so maybe it'll shock some and be very good. If its bad sorry for the fans.....

"I put you down cuz you implied that we passionate X-Men fans who thought, as you, that Ratner was a mediocre director prior to X3 but that his atrocious work on X3 was enough to despise the idea of him working on other properties we are looking forward to weren’t justified in reaching that conclusion and had to be jumping on the “bandwagon”. I thought I was clear on that. The answer to your question was genuine, like it or not. Now I’m confused as to who was and wasn’t paying attention." You see that is more of an answer that could have been given in the first place. I will go back and look but I really only saw "he sucks, his movies are crap and he's a hack" type answers. Which are opinions but with minimal points as to why he sucks. So it seemed that before the actual answer you gave above you jumped on me so that made it look like because I didn't agree with you I was basically useless on this subject. I have said I don't think X3 was great but not to bad in my eyes. Of course that is my opinion. I don't think it was solely his fault it bombed amongst the fans. I do find it funny that his failed attempt at X3 makes him now a sucky loser director now when his movies before were mediocre or average before hand. No room for error in some peoples eyes I guess. It doesn't matter my initial attempt was why you guys think he is and now I kinda got the answer. Still there isn't really a reason to put down anyone. I don't think he's great and you think he sucks which is all fine right. I was wondering the reasons why. GoW won't work because I have been told many times so I trust you and the guys who have played it telling me so. I would probably think it would be ok to me as PG-13 but then again thats only my opinion and I haven't played it much. I am sure it would be better with the more violent theme. It would have been much less like an attack to say "Spidey it wouldn't make since to you the rating not working if you haven't played the game" instead of "You don't know what your taking about." Again that is why I took it as being jumped on. That is totally alright with me your opinion of him and you are completely entitled to it. I knew it didn't correspond to mine. I simply asked "WHY" you and others had that opinion of him. Thanks for accepting the apology. Glad you cleared that up better for me this time. Thanks! and let me know when...

Wow you guys are harsh. What is funny is my name is Brett just not Ratner. Joey it is pointless for you to understand me not because you are below me but because you seem to read into everything more than the sentence put down. I didn't chastise anyone about liking him or disliking him. See you read into that to much. I asked why so harsh when he has or seemed to have done many films a lot seem to like yet y'all think he sucks? I asked why all the hate. How can that sentence get put into some kind of negative way to be chastising anyone? Almostunbiased got it right with his second sentence. I don't know anything about GOW as I plainly stated several times but I know movies can be done PG-13. I did say maybe not this one won't work as pg-13 now that some of you have played it and stated it can't so I agree with that. I guessed you missed that somewhere. I said hate Ratner bandwagon because it seems some just say how much they hate him but never heard the real reasons why. I get opinions of disliking him but he is not a bad director to me because his movies are somewhat successes. He is not the greatest either. Uwe Boll is a bad director, his movies tank, bad editing, bad writing, bad acted. Those are reasons of a bad director. So I was genuinely asking why you guys think he is other than a opinion of disliking him. X3 I don't see as solely his fault and think it is unfair, that is why I said that. Don't read into things and start putting folks down because they are not like you or like what you like. I see I am getting grouped up on here because some are like you and some are not.
