STARGATE ATLANTIS Movie Greenlit by Sci-Fi - Aug 22, 2008 - 09:21am
I agree with your statements Pony.... This is has just pissed me completely off, as I could not wait for tonight's episode. Just when Robert Picardo came on to make the show even better... BAM - GONE! Fuckers....
Sci-Fi has picked up the new show Stargate Universe and from the below article looks as if Atlantis goes off with a cliffhanger which the movie will resolve. Then there will be another movie to introduce the new series which in turn, gets picked up for next summer.

STARGATE ATLANTIS Movie Greenlit by Sci-Fi - Aug 22, 2008 - 05:45am
This is complete bullshit.... Once again, Sci-Fi is cancelling another show which has a fan base, and puts out great programming. What they need to do is stop making those crapass B movies and plug their efforts into keeping shows like this around. Thanks for Flash Gordon btw... that money could have been used on season 6, what a piece of shit that was.
Amanda Tapping left because her web-series Sanctuary got picked up by Sci-Fi and she will be putting all her time (save the SG-1 movies) into that.
Fishburne Officially Joining C.S.I - Aug 19, 2008 - 05:21am
Would have liked to seen Kurt Russell in something again, but I think the way they want this character to go only John Malkovich or Laurence Fishburne could pull it off effectively. Fishburne probably would fit better than Malkovich, so this is going to be a really interesting season.
I fail to see how a show which has been on for nine years, and is one of televisions number one shows is terrible. Every show has a couple bad episodes, but to say it's a disgrace? Meh....
