Here is a new trailer for the Doctor Who Christmas Special. The introduction of the trailer is by Matt Smith and Jenna-Louise Coleman. This year’s Christmas Special is titled The Snowmen. The movie-scale episode will introduce Jenna-Louise Coleman as new companion Clara, a new look for the Doctor, and a new monster. The Snowmen follows their adventures as they embark on a mission to save Christmas from the villainous Doctor Simeon (Richard E Grant, The Iron Lady, Dracula) and his army of icy snowmen.
The Snowmen premieres Christmas day, Tuesday Dec 25 at 9pm/8c only on BBC AMERICA.
Yeah, the snowmen are a bit cheesy...even for Doctor Who. From some of the previews I've seen, this is a light hearted romp. So, does the Doctor lose the bow tie, or is he just temporarily sporting a regular tie? What would all the geeks do with their "bow ties are cool" t shirts? He does like his hats this one.
Rob, you forgot to add one important credit for Richard E. Grant, that he was a former Doctor Who actor. He played the Doctor in the mini series Scream of the Shalka back in 2003, two year before the 2005 revival.
Hey Moz, don't be fooling with those Killer Rabbits. Just one of those nearly killed King Arthur and his entire company. Thank God they had the Holy Hand Grenade of Entioch otherwise they'd have been toast!
And okay, Miss Coleman isn't the same character, but maybe a distant or not so distant ancestor, depending on when and how she and the Doctor eventually part ways.
Evil Snowmen? Really?
How about an Easter Special with killer bunnies!
