Wow. Shows how much I check this part of my page. I was about to send you a friend request Hanso. hahaha
But yeah, I really got his autograph-twice. I can't remember if I told you this story months ago, but both were at seperate sparring sessions before the Leonard match, in Palm Springs at some outdoor pop-up tent. I can still remember Mona from Who's the Boss and Sylvester Stallone coming in as friends and taking front row seats......now I gotta go bust out my autograph book to make sure I've still got them...
yup, first autograph, first page "to Tim, Marvelous Marvin Hagler. Champ & friend, good luck in life '86"
second autograph "Champ Marvelous Marvin Hager. I will Knock Ray out '87"
my dad was (and is) still a huge fan of boxing, never transistioned to the MMA sport. I even have an autograph from some guy named Richie Sandoval, a WBA champ in 81.
of course, none of those autographs compare to the one I got from the Honky Tonk Man. Hewz yeah!
I meant what I said, your comments I always read in full, and there are a lot of maniacs these days!!!!
I'm trying to be better at it myself, trying to be respectful even when I don't agree, it's hard but I love this site too much to be the asshole who everyone hates!! haha! You and I don't disagree too often though!
glad to be friends!
I still get a kick out of the fact that as a kid I always picked up Cinescape magazine, and now here I am years later sharing good times and lively discussions with genre peeps.
Ditto to friendship :)
That song you commented on in the Capt. America trailer is called 46 and 2, by Tool. And that's actually the bass line you were talking about, I think. It's probably my favorite song of theirs and one of the greatest rock songs ever. The song title, 46 and 2, actually refers to a human with 2 extra chromosomes, making that person a perfect being. Attaining almost a God-like state. So it's kinda the perfect song for that trailer. Just though I'd share that little nugget with you!

Muchos gracias, senor. It's been years since I've been "in" to Tool, and felt dumb in the aftermath for having asked once I knew what it was. I still find lateralus amazing for the whole fibonacci sequence.
Tool. Making amazing albums and scaring old people since 1990 lol
Lol, indeed! I saw them twice on their 2001 tour. Richmond, VA and Salem, VA. They put on a great show. One of the best parts of their shows is that you encounter people from all walks of life. I saw punk rockers, metal heads, hippies, rap/hip hop fans, everyone. Just a great overall experience their shows are.
Meant to tell you I caught A Perfect Circle in D.C. back in July. Killer show, but I coulda done without the $80 ticket price. Another great Maynard experience, however.
Yo... movieguy, to answer ur question to me earlier. I'm on some stuff called Super Silver Haze. Some bomb ass cush. and it costs about 55 for an 1/8. haha
