True Blood: The Sun Review (Article) - 6/25/2013 5:57:29 PM

Alcide is still under the influence of drinking the V ....thats the assumption I'm under anyhow as to why he was acting a tool to Sam and Lafayette.

The Walking Dead: This Sorrowful Life Review (Article) - 3/25/2013 9:31:00 PM

My guess is that Rick and co. boobytrapped the prison and filled the buildings with walkers and will then attack from hidden positions when they opened the door and the walkers started flooding out. Trapping the attackers between walkers and the group firing on them.

Mania Box Office Report: The Hobbit Wins and Loses (Article) - 12/16/2012 8:37:51 PM

I saw the Hobbit this afternoon in 3D HFR and I for one thought it was awesome. I have no idea what the gripes were all about because the picture was crystal clear with no blur/ghosting and was very easy to follow. The movie was long , definetly don't recommend drinking a Big Gulp before you go see it but I enjoyed it very much. Looking forward to part 2 next year!

The Walking Dead: Killer Within Review (Article) - 11/5/2012 6:45:57 PM

Did he shoot Lori ? All we heard was a gunshot and Carl walking somber out the door. I wouldn't put it past the writers to pull a swerve and have Rick find his dying wife laying on the ground , or even worse stumbling up on Walker Lori and then we have a repeat of the pilot episode with the turmoil of putting downs one wife. Thats what I love about this show , everything you have read has gone out the window now and NO ONE but the people in the know really knows what going to happen next.

Justice League for 2015 (Article) - 10/20/2012 8:05:57 PM

WB walks up to the Marvel Zombie and says ..."our JL movie is coming in 2015 , prepared to be owned by Superman , Batman and WonderWoman " which the Marvel Zombie says with a sly grin ..."So? we have a Hulk".   WB hangs his head low and slinks away knowing yet again ....Marvel has trumped him.

Get real WB , your attempts to bring JL to the big screen to go against Marvel is going to go down as well as making any sense of Bane's mumbling this summer. WB does crush Marvel with their animated movies , stick to what works. Green Lantern was not a very good movie , the last Batman movie was a massive disappointment. The upcoming Superman movie may or may not be good , for your sakes ...I hope it is. You try to take on the Marvel universe with the crap you have put out lately you are going to get your batnipples handed to you on a silver platter.

Revolution: Soul Train Review (Article) - 10/17/2012 6:22:23 PM

How many steam powered locomotive engines are around that could be truly used? How many years did people wait around hoping/praying the power was going to come back on before the idea even came up to use a steam powered train? Its not hard to extrapolate the chaos of this world being plunged into darkness , the fight for food , shelter and survival that every individual person is going to experience...then the slow sense of purpose of a militia rising up and establishing some sort of control for better and worse. Now lets assume the militia leader gets a brainstorm of getting  a steam locomotive going ...the logistics of finding people who can do this since communication has now regressed to the level of the pony express , clearing/repairing tracks , getting a train into working order and people to run it , etc etc etc. Stop being so nit picky ...the series has remained watchable and they are trying to use logic in figuring the consequences of no power ..the antique guns I thought were brilliant.

The Walking Dead: Seed Review (Article) - 10/16/2012 6:03:24 PM

@ DarthBob ....concerning the bite , I think your comparison to a Komodo Dragon is spot on. The Komodo will eat anything , even digging up bodies of the deceased ...and you can only imagine the nastiness of rancid rottedness they consume. Same goes with a zombie they will eat anything and its not like they really have a true digestive tract per se ...what they eat tends to linger in their mouths and fester. One can only imagine being bit by one much like a Komodo dragon is going to result in massive infection and death especially since the use of antibiotics that would have to be pumped into someone in any attempt to save ones life is now non existant. Loved this episode , I even enjoyed T-Dog using his head and going for the riot shield ...that was some smart thinking on his part. I guess if I was the survivors the only thing I would have done different was killing the walkers from the other side of the fence by luring them to the fence then impaling them with knives/poles in the head from the safety of the other side of the fence. Cull the herd as much as you can before you go into the yard and risk being overwhelmed. Great episode and am really looking forward to this season.

Revolution: Pilot Review (Article) - 9/18/2012 7:34:44 PM

Well they established early on that in the area controlled by the Monroe militia that possession of a firearm was punishable by death. Is it really hard to believe that when the everything gets shut off and 15 years have passed that ammunition would be scarce since I'm guessing it would be pretty hard to make new bullets once the stockpiles of bullet making material was used up. A musket type of weapon would be more believable as a commonly used firearm because of the simplicity of keeping the weapon able to fire vs making ammo for a M-16, etc. My only issues are the easily seen issues ...the clothes that seem to be a lil too new and fitting , fresh hairstyles and some leaps of logic that had me scratching my head. When the Uncle said they needed to leave Chicago in a hurry when the militia member ran off to get help ...he sticks around to take on a buttload of men? Huh? I understand they need to establish he's Uncle Asskicker ...but fighting off an ambush as they were fleeing would have made more sense. Anyway , I'm still giving the show a shot to impress me with a few more episodes , I did like the detail to the sets and an EMP pulse I don't buy as a cause as I don't think it would anyway affect battery power. All the cars on the highway lost all power and not even the headlights were on which means the batteries were completely drained.

Affleck: No Justice League (Article) - 8/27/2012 10:58:40 PM

The Wachowski's would be my choice for JLA. You haters can keep going on about the 2 Matrix sequels all you want but they weren't atrocious. The bar was so set so high with the first movie and how visionary it was that the sequels were bound to be letdowns. Yes Speed Racer sucked but I have not yet seen a single mention on here about the Wachowski's doing the screenplay and part of the producing team of V for Vendetta. That in my humble opinion was the best DC property put on the silver screen in years that wasn't in anyway associated with The Dark Knight. Lastly leave Lana alone takes balls to do what she did and to live her life how she feels it was meant to be lived. She's no super model to be sure but I bet she's happier in her life than alot of you :) .
