Vadim Perelman Possibly Directing POLTERGEIST - Sep 02, 2008 - 12:22pm
I watched this with my son the other day and him and his friend said it was the scariest movie they had ever seen. This is from my 12 year old who told me through out Star Wars A New Hope, how fake it was and looked. He actually bought into Poltergiest and was scared and enjoyed it, even with all the outdated effects.
To add to the legend of Poltergiest is the way the little girl died years later and started getting sick during the third movie. It added a little more fear to me when I was young watching these movies. I would hate to see her replaced by anyone.
Update: Crowe Is No Dr. Watson in SHERLOCK HOLMES - Sep 02, 2008 - 12:02pm
If this is true maybe they will go the route of Watson underplaying himself as a narrator. Maybe he is a lot of Sherlock's muscle and doesn't want to take credit for it. for example...
WATSON (V.O) Holmes quickly uses his art of Baritsu to disarm the thugs.
Action - Watson kicks the crap out of five men while Holmes gets tangled up with one of the smaller armed men.
Could be funny and cool at the same time. I could see it.
Nolan's Call on a Third BATMAN - Aug 27, 2008 - 11:24am
I wanted to see Two Face in the next one as well... originally, but I agree with Hanso, it wouldn't work now. Also can you imagine how bad his burned side of his face and eye would look by the time three came out. His eye ball would be freakin dry as hell and his face would have maggots all over it. I'm just sayin. I like Catwoman, Riddler and Penguin with Kate B., Depp, and Phillip S. Hoffman, maybe he changed his tune after seeing what what Heath Ledger did with the Joker.
