Whytedragon, I think he actually dropped that comment because he's an Occupy Wallstreet sympathyzer and he didn't enjoy your "hippie" comment.

I guess I'll throw my hat in the ring, too, and also say that it looks like a pretty cool movie.  If only they hadn't used that stupid handheld camera technique.  Used correctly and with the right story this style can be very effective.  I thought Cloverfield was cool even though it seems most peolpe didn't care for it.  But this story just seems like they're doing it just for the sake of doing it.  No real reason for it and it doesn't seem like it adds anything to the overall movie-going experience.  Nothing positive anyway.  You can't just shoot in this style because it's the new "in" thing.  If it's going to be done it has to be done in a way in which it adds to the experience, and in this case it looks a bit arbitrary and they would have been better off without it.

And, dude, did she totally get boffed by a ghost dressed in a gimp suit?  I didn't quite understand that scene.  Did it really happen or was it a dream/hallucination?  And if it was real, who the hell was it?  I think it's pretty obvious that it wasn't her husband.  And speaking of the husband:  I really feel like they're going a bit overboard with naked Dylan McDermott scenes and ass shots, especially the scene with him firing off knuckle babies in front of the window. There's been like 4 or 5 McDermott ass shots already in the first two episodes.  That's my only gripe with this show right now.

I just watched the first two episodes of American Horror Story.  It's awesome.  So twisted and evil.  It's hard to believe what they can get away with nowadays on these cable networks.  Love it.  It seems like it might end up being a sort of murder conspiracy story wrapped around a haunted house theme.  Pretty cool.

I want to know why no one is talking about American Horror Story...

Again, I'd like to know what role Amy Adams' ass will play in this film.

Ok, so is it supposed to be a prequel or a remake.  I was under the impression that it was a remake, but Rob mentioned the word "prequel" a couple times in his review.

Yeah, goldeneyez, I actually mentioned that in my comment.  I used to watch Over the Top all the time when I was a kid.  In fact, I just recently bought it on Blu Ray.
