OK, by reading the comments, I am probably in the minority here, but I liked the alternate ending better than the theatrical version, and wish they'd used it instead in the theaters. First off, I did NOT like this movie. I went to see it because of the source material and was sorely disappointed. Letting it stand on its own, however, my next issue was with the 'leader' infected guy. Possible spoilers lie ahead, just FYI. ****spoiler alert (maybe)**** Every time we saw the 'leader' zombie,at the library, in the parking lot, at the end scene, etc, we were supposed to see some sort of social structure to the seemingly mindless zombies. The movie really failed on this point because it was never really clear what he was supposed to be...he was in charge and leading the zombie horde....or maybe not...they had a crude social structure...or maybe not...they cared for each other at a primal level...or maybe not. My point is that the ALT ending fleshed out that one set of character details to the point that other parts of the movie made more sense. But thats just me.

Yep. I have nothing original to say other than to agree with the site bashing. It sucks. I actually checked to make sure that mania hadn't been hi-jacked by another site with crappy design. Nope. They just changed it.
