I say is to discuss the film. If you don't want to be spoiled do not go beyond the review itself.

If the thread isn't to discuss the movie then the comments should be disabled because we've already spent 2 years saying "can't wait"

Dude, all I'm saying is that she's heading west. If I drive from NYC to Pennsylvania along the way I'll  have to drive south and others north because the road I'm on. Same here, she's traveling west but has to follow the coast line. Yeah she has to travel north to achieve her westward path, heck at one point she even traveled east to get to Astapor.

I don't know if your being a contrarian or just being anal but my point is that she's going west.......and she can't walk on water with her army

Pitch Black came in as overlooked, oh by the way, B movie. So when it kicked ass and blew beyond the non-existent expectations it makes it easier to appreciate.

Chronicles' expectations were much higher hence the disappointment by some.

I think they're both awesome but Pitch is definitely a cult favorite of mine.

Can't  wait for this but you can see they're not holding out for huge box office considering the release date

Oh and yes the franchise was left in a position to open up new adventures as they finally head out to accomplish the original mission and explore new worlds 

And btw the tribble cameo was great too

Yeah caught the midnight show and let me say the movie surpassed my expectations by a mile. And I say that even though  the end and outcomes were pretty anti-climactic. Yeah most can see the outcome ahead of time and some scenes felt contrived like Spock yelling Khan.

Still and all the ride there was super fun. The twist they gave Khan was very smart. It was dealt with in a manner that made it feel fresh for the most part

Ender's Game is a modern classic, I'm not familiar with HG but I wouldn't put it in the same class as EG. HG from the little I saw seemed quite stupid
